    Hello fellow black hatters,

so i have had this problem for a few years now and decided that it's time to ask help on BHW. I have asked for help in some random PC help forums and live chats but nothing helped or no one knew why this is!.

My personal opinion is that this is happening because i am using a TV instead of a monitor but haven't camo across someone else with the same problem.

So my desktop is normal apart from having a smaller desktop on the left hand side??? I can move my mouse over to it and yes it goes off the screen and it can be pretty annoying as it can get lost there and i have to move my mouse around like crazy for it to find its way back

You may also notice that the background of the mini desktop on the left is exactly the same as my main one and it chances along side the main one so i cant change it individualy.

The back space that you see at the bottom of the mini desktop is just a border and my mouse can't cross it. it acts just like a normal side of a desktop.

Please have a look at the images, i've even made a diagram so that it is easier to imagine what i am talking about.

If the image links break then i can PM individuals if you want to see it.

Probably the two monitors are too different in size and the resolution on main one is not compatible with resolution on small one.

Easiest thing is to get a bigger monitor to replace the small one.

I've only got one TV screen wired to my PC. i do not have a mini monitor attached :D

Sorry forgot to mention that changing the resolution to 1920x1080 fixes the problem but i get a good inch of a black border and it's just not as HD as it is on 1920x1200

exactly what it is and i followed the tutorial and it gets rid of the black border on 1920x1080 and the glitched mini desktop isn't there anymore but i do not like 1920x1080 resolution. It just looks horrible compared to 1920x1200 and i'd rather have the glitch than stay on 1920x1080

    thanks for the suggestion!

but there must be a way that i can keep the res on 1920x1200 and get rid of the glitch

I wonder if adjusting the overscan settings on the 1920x1200 setting would solve the issue.

That is why I am using a Mac, you just try to install the newest driver and then reboot 12 times. :D

Hmm, that's strange. How wide is your monitor (not the resolution, the physical monitor)?
