they rank nr 1 in google a keyword i fight hard to rank for..

maybe they forgot to pay the bills

Something related to the hosting .. Didn't payed the bills , sent spam using that server or used higher resources their account allows.. Or they simply want to go out of business in a quiet way

well, thay have the sweetspot in the ranking, there's a saying, I will try to translate it: don't be so tight-fisted that you can't think. That domain host they used is shit but cheap...
