But I'm a newbie and have only started doing this now. So this is for newbies like me.

Set your Website or Blog. As your home page.

The quest for more traffic is right in front of you, on your own home Computer. This will give you at least one person visiting your site every day
and if you are like me open and close my browser at least 10 times a day.

Click on the tools tab then at the Internet options
In the window that appears. Change Home Page settings to your Website or Blog url.

If you can persuade some of your family and friends to make your Blog or Website their Home Page too,you will be surprised how many extra visitors your site receives every month

and what will this traffic do. this has no purpose what so ever. you can monetize traffic that comes from you.

Jesus H Christ. At least start a service selling this traffic to other people - you know, iframe their sites inside your own page and then visit it a thousand times a day with a new ip/user agent/cleared cache.

You could make a solid $1 a day doing this.

Then scale: When you make enough, buy another computer and another dsl connection and operate one mouse with each hand, thus doubling your earnings.

Phase 3 involves either training others or learning to operate a mouse with your feet.

In honor of the OP I'm going to call this the 'The Nanavlad Method: How to monetize idiocy'

@OP - that's not going to help you at all but you could hit all the hotels in your area that have computers in the business centers and change the home pages to your urls.
