The traffic and promotion.

Its not like will take 1 week to start earning from this.

Plus need to find some twist to monetize it, most when its an old method.

for sure this can make money, key is to stockpile good domains and keep buying them. I checked out the op's suggested directory site and it seems ok , I haven't found a directory that I can just say that's what I want. Has anyone made a directory from scratch with what you want for features. Everyone wants a yelp clone,,so what would a kick ass custom directory run.. Is 500-1k realistic,, not talking about themes either.

Sound great ! I `ll try it and tell you the result later , but the biggest problem now are the key domain and value traffic
 
Google has pretty much devalued local and niche directories. Most potential advertisers do know they can get way more traffic and exposure with Google local and adwords. This old method might still make some pennies, but it has become a lot more difficult.

-What are the ways to monetize it? I mean, i suppose to sell the list once it is done, because I was able to understand the concept but I'm new on it and i want to grow.

Can anyone help me to discover ways or twists to that?

You monetize it by contacting companies you are targeting (Domain name:AmsterdamLawyers -> would target lawyers in amsterdam)
They need to pay you a certain fee to be able to be on the directory you own.
They will get traffic/clients. You will get paid.

Payment Twists:
Free to be on the site, paid to be promoted/first page.


It would require some SEO work to set it all up.
But as it is a local directory there should not be much competition and once you are ranked in the top 3 for keywords like amsterdam lawyers you could start selling spots and show them proof by googling that keyword and show them you are ranked highly for it etc etc..

So when u have the Local niche list, you contact Lawyers to sell them your list? Or you contact marketers that sell the list to them with Ads?
I will try a lot of methods, but i lack in knwoledge about how to monetize, or where to sell the things that i get.

SEO = Search Engine Optimization.
Search forums for it, there are some experts there.
You sell them a spot on your site so they get extra clients when people search your keyword.
Like amsterdam lawyer.
You never sell a list of companies.

Learn SEO or pay monthly for an SEO service(Expensive though.).
 
While a lot of people bickered I took action, only that wordpress theme seems to error when trying to import local businesses, not sure if its because the theme is ancient or what, but tried importing as post and importing as places, and nothing happened either time.

Try another theme or script.
 
Well, i did two pages like that, i uploaded the csv and all that stuff, now, I think i'm going to offer one month free and more paying.
Now my question, i need to SEO tha page in order to offer them something valuable? I dont know nothing about SEOing, Is that really hard?

A method, no matter how old, if makes money, is good. In IM, old/new/latest/ancient/from Mayan era doesn't matter, what matters is that it works or not and shells out a good ROI. IM is a results business, everything else is history.
