That's a pretty good article. Some good information to consider when writing sales letters and promoting products. Also demonstrated a good way to write something to interest people and then plug something totally unrelated without seeming like your doing it.

Well.. So the basic point is, do not think only on the positive side and dream as if everything is going as per your defined plan, instead focus more on the negative side and how your business will not move as per your plan.

I do agree with the author and thanks for sharing. I did this mistake in my earlier life and I have paid for it. I know i lost a big business and went through legal trouble just because of this reason. Though everything was perfect, i never thought on the dark side and I still get horrified, when i think of those days..

Good to read if you wannabe entrepreneur

Answer is simple: perfectism and greed. In both cases its never enough. And why not?

many people think that positive thoughts will yield positive results. i just had a guy call me yesterday about investing $50,000. in his untested business plan.

he had nothing, but he felt sure it was a good idea. :D
(hmmm, where have i heard *that* one before...)

    I feel your pain newkid.

A few years ago I was having some good financial success and got a little cocky with my investments. When the mortgage industry and real estate markets imploded it destroyed me. Over the last couple years everything I had worked to build up over the previous decade was lost; I lost houses one by one dropping like dominoes, each time trying to regroup and save what was left. I lost everything I owned (and it was a substantial loss) because I wasn't prepared for the worst case. So now instead of enjoying an early retirement, I've found myself starting over from scratch. Not only starting over, but I still have more debt than many can people earn in 10 or 15 years. The advantage I have over when I was younger is a lot of knowledge, but it will still take time to rebuild my financial security. The disadvantage is that I have a lot less time to do it in now.

The thing about IM is that the potential profits are so great. I'm doing what I need to survive, but I also continue to work at my online projects because this business has a real chance to succeed at a much larger scale than anything available offline in the current economy.
