I'm not sure where to post this, but well, here goes...

I've decided to put IM on hold and focus on other areas of making money online. For the past 5 months, I have been trying to make it work. But it's just taking too much of my time (still doing 9-5) and I'm concerned that if I slack off all the hard work I've put into it might all be for nothing.

I've been meaning to get started on ewh0ring and I've only just recently took the plunge. I found it to be more... fulfilling... in that the responses are almost instantaneous.

I began IM on a shoestring budget so all marketing methods I've used have primarily been white hat. And white hat+bum marketing take an awful lot of time. And effort.

So I was thinking of selling the whole damn IM project. I mean everything-- the domain, email addresses, twitter account, the blog, the marketing materials... Every damn thing. I just can't seem to take it to the next level. I was idiotically idealistic when I started out and I guess the difficulty may have also been caused by the poor choice of niche to plunge into (damn those ebooks).

I've lost interest in the project and for me that alone will cause me to ultimately fail. My heart is not in it anymore.

    Sorry for ranting.

But I'd like to hear from you; should I just let this go? Am I right in thinking of selling it? Or should I stick with it?

    Thanks, you all!

    Keep on rocking,

    -E-

You lost the battle. Now you can't make it.

I'm glad I'm over that hurdle, but...

My opinion; stick with it. Use the time you have to do it, if you don't then so be it, but have something you can always return to :)

IM is not for everyone, especially not for quitters.

This reminds me of the story about the guy who was digging for gold.. he kept digging and digging and digging. After 10 feet of digging he finally gave up. What he didn't realize is that the gold was only another 2 inches away..

Follow your heart, stick with whatever you are passionate about.

    Good luck

Be very careful about getting into the habit of quitting when
    it gets a little rough.

No matter what you do, there will be bumps in the road.

Good luck with whatever you decide is best for you.

LOL who would want to buy your system if it led to you giving up and quitting!!? Maybe you should slow down, take a few deep breaths, and start from square one. IM isn't really that complicated. The fact that you mentioned twitter makes it look to me like you are trying out all the wrong angles.

Maybe try and sell an affiliate product on CL with the I'm sorry method? ? ? There are really easy, simple ways to go about things that can make you a lot of money...

Get yourself together. I've been failing for a while before I started making money.

Sorry for your desperate condition, but like previously stated...your payoff might be just around the corner. Are you using tracking systems so you can test on a certain level what's working and what isn't? IM takes constant tweaking to get the best ROI mate

Well you guys got me thinking... Hell, I might've actually been over-thinking this whole IM bit.

I appreciate all the words of inspiration and and constructive criticisms-- lol! guess I had that coming!

Yeah, I think I just need to take a step back and look at what I'm doing from a different perspective.
