Hey blackhatters! Been a while since i posted, but here i am at last.
Anyways, just wanted to share this technique i have been using to drive traffic to my own websites. Works very well so far, and got me just over £4,500 this month. Nice little earner.

    1. Looked on google trends for ideas for the latest software craze, ie. latest copy of photoshop, xrumer for free, make a million £££'s overnight, etc. The more uncrackable the software and harder to get hold of - the better.

    2. I create a small software application that when run looks exactly like the latest software (ie with splash screens, control panel etc). I use photoshop and other stuff until the app looks precisely like the real thing, with real working buttons and menus - the real deal using C++. I bulk up the app so it's size matches the real software's size (ie. real photoshop is 600mb or so so I bulk my dummy app up to 600mb). The file size is usually a real giveaway that what the person is downloading is not the real deal.

    3. I upload my app to pirate bay, isohunt not to many as I do not need to.

    4. When run the software asks for an email address to send the registration details to. The email address gets logged on my own database, which I use to market my products. The email address must be genuine, as it actually does receive an email containing a password to use the software. I can also log anything I want about the person running the dummy app's computer. Once the email address is logged, the software can ask for or do anything - require a password which the user can only get by signing up for a free offer, CPA offer redirect, redirect to a website - anything. All redirects are fully server side cloaked for anonymity.

And that's it. I have been having great success with mobile phone unlocking software this month - who knows what will be popular next week.

And of course - this is highly scaleable - I have only uploaded 3 dummy phone unlocking software's so far - I have over 20 'target' apps waiting in the wings.

I am also thinking about using ebooks for this - the first few pages are free, after that you have to go and complete an offer etc.

Also video - plays the first few minutes of the latest blockbuster then freezes until you sign up for a free offer, (fully cloaked links of course), visit a website etc.

So I get an email address (at the least), and a free offer sign up, and a visitor to my highly stocked website. I know this could be big, and will be offering to create these dummy apps for people very soon (which will be fully customisable), so I just wanted to gauge the level of interest.

I know this is severely black hat - I am a bad boy, but looking forward to my holiday in the Seychelles next month too.:D

Very interesting approach i must say! Clearly an "out-of-the-box" idea and it gets me thinking.... few years ago i did something similar but then with nude celebs and an payment option, worked like a charm but for some reason i stopped doing this. Maybe it's worth to give it another try with a more web2.0 approach, who knows ;)

    Good luck!

Nice dude thats a great idea and deff can put a spin on it. I was going to start a similar method with a popular classified site so im glad to see that its gotten good success for you.
Yes you could do that with celeb nude sceens and then right before the sceen have it pause for a cpa offer, keep having it pause and have some kind of ppc underneath the video so that they have to keep clicking to play, lol that would be funny. Oh course have it swap out the squares between a couple different networks.

Your first idea is good, but it's for programmers, i stoped building applications since 2007, but may be i should restart ....
about ebooks and videos, people don't like submitting their emails just if you give them interresting offers ...

Dumb question perhaps but how do you know if a person completed the free offer, CPA offer redirect, etc? What type of CPA offers work well for you in this example and are also confirmable that the visitor completed the action?

You would just check you stats in the cpa network, I would think that anything related would work good.

So you're (or rather one of) the guy(s) that make(s) downloading shit off IsoHunt or PirateBay difficult for non geeks?

*sigh* If I were paid maybe $5-10 for each person that wanted me to show them how to download things properly I wouldn't be here..

Come to think of it... I'll sell anyone reading an 'ebook' on how to do just that. ;)

Jk cool technique. You lil' deviant.

Yeah but how would he associate that person to what the stats show? The stats to be generic, just showing a conversion (or not).

Nice, now I need to work out how to automate it and upscale it all!

Just a quick question with the emails what do you do with them apart from cpa offers? Perhaps you could trick them with some kind of thing saying ** YOU HAVE BEEN CAUGHT PIRATING XYZ SOFTWARE ** then post a link to the aff. program of that software - please buy a legitimate copy within 48 hours or you will receive letters from our lawyers or something to that effect, then stick up their ip and all that jazz - can you get their name from the pc?

Yes, I had thought of doing this, but the word extortion sort of jumped to mind, but I might still do it anyways as they, of course, are doing something illegal by installing pirated copyrighted 'stuff'.
My idea is to make small programs ie. 'YouTube Dominator - automatic youtube account creation, auto rating, auto commenting, auto viewing - get your video to No.1 within 4 hours!' or some shit like that, then sell them on my phone unlocking website under 'other software' for £50. I would then, as you say post on torrents, and send demands for payment (or face the wrath of my solicitors and £10,000 fine etc) with the proof (below) that they have installed it. Saves the hassle of getting in bother with affiliates who might be bit arsey about this.
Oh - the best bit - what info can i get from their PC?
Here's a list. I do intend to make it longer with even more details, but at the moment I think that this would make anyone receiving it in an email alleging copyright abuse think 'oh shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit'. See what you think.

    Product name.
    Email address.
    Serial code they entered.
    PC User name.
    Domain Name.
    NIC Address.
    IP Address.
Language used on PC (english, etc)
    Display settings (height,width)
    Available RAM
    Operating system (XP, Vista etc.)
    Operating system version
    Operating system service pack
    Organization (if on a network)
    Hard drive serial number
    Hard drive size
    Installation folder
    Free space on hard drive
    Installation date and time

As I said, this is only a starter list, and I will be expanding it out. All the values can be stored in a database or emailed to an email address of my choice.

so, after he fills out the CPA offer and enters his email address in your software, he gets what? the real software, or nothing?

You could also fill out the cpa offer for the customer automatically in the background (webbrowser object, of course if there is no captcha).
I am not sure if someone would enter his real email/data into any fields on some warez site or software.

I get round the 'real email' issue by sending them a username and serial for the 'software' to the email they enter. This is needed to use the software. Of course once these are entered and the software runs it generates an error code, ie. this processor type is not supported etc. By this time they have completed the free offer, or visited my website, or done what I want them to do.:D

Oh and for anyone with a bit of techie knowledge, the person installing the software cannot get around registration by disconnecting from the internet and typing in the username and serial as they are verified remotely. This allows me to get all the juicy PC info and the email address.:D
