I'm not sure where to post this, so I'll try here in the lounge. Over the last couple of weeks, I've been getting up to 9 messages a day through my website contact form for an article writing website. I've asked these people to stop spamming the hell out of my site and they just keep on doing it. So fellow BHWers,
    1) any ideas of blasting them back?
    2) any ideas on how to get them to stop?

As I told them I was going to do, I'm posting here to let others know that these people are total dusches and to not do business with them. I hope their on BHW as I would love to shame them.

I DO NOT want to advertise for them, so here is the website in code. (If I shouldn't be posting this, please let me know.)
    Code:
    http://www.1dollararticle.com/

As an article writer myself these guys seem like douches if they can't take the hint. Manners and courtesy are what take you far as a writer imo. Plus there return policy looks wack...
If they are emailing you can't you just set up an email filter? If it's a forum can't you set up a system for only registered people to post and if they are registering use a harder capcha system to stop them?

$1 spun 500 word article. It is bound to be poor quality.

I checked their home page and their example articles and they are definitely bad. In other words, I wouldn't use them.

Well hopefully people will google that domain name before ordering and find this thread and see what kind of assholes these guys are. So for good measure, I will put this text here to help it rank: 1dollararticle.com

    Also 1dollararticle.com review.

    :D

can you not block their email on your contact form ?

I just bang out a legalese email when I want people to halt their actions.

Nothing too technical. I find once I head an email "without prejudice" its enough to make them wake up.

"With regard to the unsolicited emails received on Dec 24-27 and despite polite requests to decist we find ourselves yet again receiving no satisfaction just more unsolicited spam.............yada yada........If your webmaster is unwilling to comply with a polite request we will take the matter further...2 lines to nicely say fuck off.

edit:Non private whois I would make sure his name is on the email and cc his host for extra thrills.

Ohh easy I love guys like this!!!
Step 1: Go find some products that teach you how to sell your services or market online etc.
Step 2: Get some aff links to them
Step 3: Reply to their emails and say "Interested in your article writing services" (They will be so happy inside when they see the title)
Step 4: Insert swipe email with your affiliate link.
Step 5: A) Laugh as they actually buy the product because they obviously need help selling their stuff -or- B) Laugh as they slowly stop sending you these emails because you got their hopes up and let them down too many times.

Problem fixed ;) haha I love my job

LOL...Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm using Contact Form 7 on a Wp site. I just added ReCaptcha to the contact form, so we'll see if that slows them down. And I've looked everywhere in the contact form settings and I can't find a block email/ip anywhere.

What I started doing was sending them the same message back to them. There's got to be a tool that I could blast their contact form with saying "F" off and stop blasting MY contact form.

    Home Page:
If the plugin captures the ip then block it through cpanel and he will not be even able to access the website. and if it doesn't then check your "last visitors" in cpanel and see which ip hits the "thank you" page that loads after submitting the contact form.

I found a way to block them from ever contacting my again. I hadn't though of this, but contact form 7 also uses the "comment blacklist" section from the "Discussion" section in the settings of WP. I just put the website and email address in the blacklist and after testing it, it now blocks the comment from being submitted. I was going to block the ip, but there's a different ip each time, so they must be using proxies.

Hopefully someone looking to use 1dollararticle.com and was hoping to find a 1dollararticle.com review will find this thread, realize they're duschebags and find someone on BHW to write their article instead. :)

Damn I love this place. I just report them to their ISP, Registrar and Hosting Service and soon they disappear but I don't make a dollar off them =( Now I'll lob over a few warning shots with affiliate offers and if they don't take the hint or don't make me a buck then I'll hit them with the howitzer and let their host, registrar or isp take them down.

BTW....I found this on scambook.com just by doing a Google search for 1dollararticle.
    Code:
[COLOR=#5D5D5D][FONT=Verdana]I have been dealing with $1dollararticle for over 2 weeks trying to get one article
that will pass Copyspace and that was not taken from a free article website.
All their articles are spun, Even the $3 articles. All their articles are taken from free article website and spun.
You can find their articles all over the Internet.
They do not pass copyspace, they do not write their own articles, they don't give refunds.[/FONT][/COLOR]
    http://www.scambook.com/report/view/171086/1DollarArticlecom-Complaint-171086-for-$11.00

Looks like their articles are total crap.
