are you from the UK? if you are you should know that the soldier was run over and the butchered in the middle of the street, and that its has been all over the news.
I seriously hope the donations aren't for his own pocket because that it just soo morally wrong. But then again you get suspitous as to why he doesn't just get people to donate to Help for Heroes.
No, I'm from Belgium. I saw it too. But I was just thinking this guy is taking the money for his own. I'm not realy sure he will donate. It just looks like this in my eyes .
oh my God ! 1.2million fans in one day? That dead soldier made the page owners luck man !
I doubt the guy who runs the page will take the money for himself because the facebook page has already been mentioned in the press over here and if help for heroes doesn't get the money then the press will find out and the guy who runs the page will get into some serious trouble.
Well don't know it is scam but i always respect war hero's either they are from any country.
Sacrificing your life for people is not that easy.
JJustgiving pages have to be linked to a charity for it to be set up. The guy doesnt see or touch the money, it goes straight to the chosen charity. No scam
i will also create same page when bill gates or barack obama or justin bieber will dead
What he said and even if he did steal the money he would be destroyed in the UK
It's not fair man, all the donated cash should have been transferred to the dead solider family
He is not scamming, I geuss. its going to a organisation called Help for Heroes.
Even Telegraph.co.uk is writing about it: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/ukn...-attack-how-to-donate-to-Help-For-Heroes.html
No it shouldn't and the soldier who actually has a name would not have wanted that either
Help for heroes is a fantastic charity
I barely saw a fanpage growing like that...OMG
can't say if scam or not, but i definitly hope is not a scam and the page and money should be given to the family of the deceased soldier
Please close this thread it's idiotic and disrespectful
google help for heroes ffs
Its not scamming. You just cant scam openly on such a scales, you'll get busted before you know it.
JustGiving keeps the donation's then releases it to the charity each week after they take their fee's.
Looks legit user has an history of early donations for other deceased soldiers, 200k+
