I'm thinking of using my scrapebox to blast targeted blogs that are related to the products I am promoting on clickbank. Do you guys think this could work? (I know, only one way to find out, but I thought I'd shoot it out to everyone to get some feedback).

I am going to take my hop link and put it in a url shortener. Then use scrapebox to build a big list of blogs in my niche that will allow me to comment. I am going to blast all these blogs with a comment telling people that this product helped me etc...

Any thoughts on if anyone has given this a shot, or potential things I may have overlooked?

stop YELLING at SCRAPEBOX. why is it so LOUD in here?!

easiest way to get shit out of a network is to spam your links like that. no network wants to see affiliate links everywhere. It will also be kind of difficult to say exactly how you're getting your traffic, what would your response be? good idea, and it can work ;), but cover your tracks better than what you've described

I've tried this a few weeks ago. The idea was that I would directly target blog owners who may read my comments, offering them seo/traffic/wordpress/etc. related products.

I covered my tracks this simple way : shortened link > domain with 301 redirect > aff link
I removed the 301 redirect 48hours after the blast.

As a result I got about 3000 hops and one sale which is the worst conversion rate I've ever had :D

Good too know you gave it a shot! Your one sale let's me know that there is potential to this method, I just got to tweak it after a couple of runs. Weird that the conversion rate was that bad, maybe it was the product itself that wasn't converting well.

Yeah I thought about the redirect too but wasn't sure if it was a good idea in case click bank checks the link. That's not a bad idea though. At first I could do the redirect for 48-72 hours after the blast and then take off the redirect, and just keep up my page with a review or testimonial of the product I'm promoting, in the hopes that they'll click through.

I'm going to give it a shot tomorrow, tonight going to make a list of sites through scrapebox.

Guys this got tried a couple of months back and it didn't end well. Affiliate companies found out by bloggers reporting the hoplinks to them, so watch out!

Yeah I know what you mean, but in this case since the links will be to a site that will redirect to the end product, the tracks are being covered.

For the first day or two the redirect will be there and then it will be taken down. If anyone says anything about it, then by the time clickbank checks it out the redirect will be gone and it will look like the customers came to the linked page and then clicked through for the product.
