Thinking of Starting a Dating App......

Among what othes have said in regards to spammers. It's also saturated by some good competitors. You need to offer something unique, and you need girls to be there. Real girls. It used to be on the fringe dating apps there were tons of guys, but so fw girls since they don't need to put as much effort into the dating game. At least not in USA.

Innovation will, in my opinion, be your biggest hurdle.

I'm particularly interested in hearing about the risks and potential pitfalls of starting and running a dating app. Whether it’s from a business, technical, or legal standpoint, what are the biggest challenges that I should be aware of?
the biggest challenge is to gain women ... very expensive .... its often like 90% man and 10% woman

This requires a very high advertising budget and is a difficult process. Good luck.

dating apps live or die on trust and active users, and both are expensive and hard to build

Dating apps have already been developed by many parties and it is quite difficult to scale them widely.
If you truly want to pursue this, you need to create a clear and detailed plan, including both the product development readmap and the marketing and advertising strategy

I think the problem lies in handling fake accounts. I don't know if your dating app uses facial verification during account registration to prevent fake or impersonated accounts, and I also don't know if your facial verification system is capable of detecting AI effectively. More importantly, can your app differentiate itself from existing apps?
