I am thinking of selling this new site I just finished working on. It's the WORLDS FIRST EVER website specifically for FORUM GAMES, the best way to unwind. Already there are games like I Spy, Photoshop Tennis, King of the Hill etc. on the website, also, the website has a fully functional chat room and a resources page where there's affiliate links to the best gaming guides, eBooks etc.

The traffic currently is little, as there's no marketing done what so ever.

Any idea how much this site would fetch? Any takers? The site is - upbeatgaming [dot] com

And where should I sell this site? Any suggestions on getting buyers, besides Flippa?

    Thanks and cheers!

I'm not an expert in the games niche, but I usually look for for big websites to buy on flippa. It will probably get a few hundred imo (low $xxx).

Yep, that's pretty much the maximum you'd be looking at given no/little traffic and revenue.

A pretty common misconception people have (I see it a lot being in brokerage business) is that they tend to value the time/energy put into the creation of something far more than the market values it. Generally speaking - unless your site gets traffic/revenue it isn't worth anything regardless of how good/nice/complex it is or how many hours of hard work you've put into creating it.

There's obviously some exceptions to this rule, e.g. when you find a buyer that is interested in a site exactly like this and would therefore prefer buying it from you rather than having it developed from scratch, but this kind of leads are extremely hard to come by.

If you believe in the site then you should really work on promoting (and monetising) it and look into selling it off a little later when it's already getting traffic and making money.
