So I've been tracking cooking for about a week now. I see there is a huge demand for it; weather it is a magazine, or a book of recipies... they are getting bought!:D

So I'm thinking of creating a cooking eBook and name it, "25 Under 5" or something, "25 Meals Under 5 Minutes". Make it all colerful with pictures and all that. Get the recipies from other books and just change a few things in them.

Then how would you guys promote it?
Would you make a site, then put a, "The secrets will be reviled on <date>, sumbit your e-mail for notifications" or something (to build a list). Then go on CB, talk to people who promote such sites and tell him, "Hey listen.. I have this many people, I think its going to be a hot book, mind helping me out for %70 of the cut?"

very odd niche my friend but I'm here to rescue your thread (sorry it took a while, I was at the mall)

but anything has potential (that's how I see things)

--Wrap it up in a nice download package and give it free with a cropped email submit and have them sign up to your mailing list.

Then send them weekly recipe packages and have them "verify their email address" and have a nice email submit for them.

Scrape some emails off of recipes.com and use them to promote. 1,000 members downloading your stuff every week should be at least 4K a month with the right work done

    :)

So what you would suggest is instead of selling the book, sell the recipies?

So they download they book and I tell them, "If you would like to get more recipies, for just $4.99/month you can sign up and get them e-mailed to you on weekly basis!" sorta thing?

Hmm... so I'm thinking instead of making the product that you can just download.. I'm thinking of making a 'monthly subscription' where for $12.99/month or whatever, by the end of each month the subscriber will get a digital (physical) book with 25 recipies or whatnot. All bright and colerful, etc.
