Thanks I needed this. I need to take more risks.
This world needs to grow some balls for sure.
Great Video it sucks that the thread will probably be closed/deleted after some people that didn't get the general message whine and complain about it and begin the process of a flame war.
people afraid to take the chance for fear of what other think
follow your own heart dont be a follower of others.
all about risk, do it, try it, screw what others think.
now i no why i have a small fan club, i like this guy/video
So many people on BHW have become afraid of taking so much risks when it comes to almost everything. There are posts of people afraid to even tell people they do Internet Marketing and try to come up with a crazy excuse of why they are making money since other people don't understand it. There are people afraid to move to another country because of their family and friends. Hundreds of Millions of people have emigrated around the world in the past without the ability to make a phone call, or a live video chat session to their friends and family or Instant Messaging. Even one of the furthest points in the world Taipei, Taiwan to Asuncion, Paraguay can be traveled to in 30 to 35 hours, its not like it was 100 years ago when such a trip would take a month or more
And then there is so many people worried about lawsuits when not only is it hard to even collect in many cases but alot of the people that are paranoid are judgement proof.
And, way the hell off topic - but, I'm sure I'm not alone in noticing that it's often the migrants who make the most 'success' of their lives when they arrive in their new country.
I think the reason is very simple - they appreciate the opportunities before them, because they've fought to have access to them.
And when you live in a state of appreciation, all other things like anxiety and fear go away, because it's not possible for those other things to co-exist with appreciation.
Well, I watched the whole video and I do agree with a lot of what he said. This is something I've been preaching to people a lot in my daily life, if you are comfortable, you aren't growing. We really have to put ourselves in uncomfortable positions to see a progress.
I try to practice this in my daily life as much as possible, but granted their are certain sectors that could use improvement. I have no problem standing up to people, but for some reason when it comes to my job and co-workers I seem to shut down, which has allowed them to walk all over me at time. This could be the reason why I have now leaned towards IM, but also an important stepping stone in life. What I really need to do is politely tell them to go f*ck themselves in so many words, and create conflict.
..Anyway.. Great video.
Great video tony.
