    Hey Guys,

heard that Ryan Deiss released a facebook traffic system. didn't have time to listen to it but I just want to add a few key points that are important when running ad so that you don't lose too much money.

    Ad Creation:
When using an ad, make sure you have faces, borders, bright borders, happy people, smiling people. Why? This increases CTR. How so? Faces and the like attracts attention from the user.

Run ads in such a a way that is (number you are targeting) x 3. Once that is done. pause the ad as there will be banner ad blindness.

A good CTR to work with is .10%

There is a bulk facebook ad submitter tool by the 4 hr affiliate. I will upload it later. This really cuts down ad submission time which is the biggest problem so far.

Remember to daypart your ads. No shortcut out of it, need to manually pause it.

Preferably, ask a question in the headline. (Looking for a Valentine?), (Need $10,000) sorts. This promotes interactivity and get micro commitment from the user.

If you want to speed up your ads, put 10,000 for the campaign daily limit. Don't worry, you will be stopped by your account's daily limit.

Bid 3/4 of the minimum CPM bid. Also, never bid CPC on mature markets (or anywhere for that matter). It's too expensive and its for suckers.

If possible, target people by companies and interest. I am not sure whether Ryan Deiss video talks about this, but people in certain companies have certain income level, likes, dislikes, class, status. Do micro targeting for maximum results.

Your account daily ad spend. I am not sure how to maximize it, I was fortunate to be able to speak to a representative and he kicked my daily ad spend to 3k.

Recently at ASW, Alex from Facebook (manager of internet marketing) spoke in a panel that most of the money is earned by affiliates (duh), so they are focusing alot of attention on affiliates (not too sure, dont quote me). If you need any help from facebook, email them at affiliates@fac*book.com

I tested some like half a year ago and left disappointed, luckily it was on a free ad credit voucher. I probably didn't know what I was doing though. Im reconsidering launching an affiliate or CPA campaign with it. My AM told me to try a credit report offer as it was doing well with face book. She didn't go into anymore detail than that so I'm sure I messed it up. Any tips on successful niches? I really want to get a good campaign running. Also is direct linking profitable or should I stick with Landing pages?

    @MattBlethen

My AMs do say that credit reports are good. facebook is really seasonal. The ads are much more trend worthy. Thus this niche is good to go to because of the tax season coming.

a perennial niche to go to is dating. Because of the demographic segmenting, it is good to target this. Not going to specifics, this is the niche I go to.

There are great pictures around for the dating niche. And because of it, it is also one of the most difficult.

Banner blindness happen frequently, you must have creative ad copy to capture attention and Seth's Godin purple cow method must be used. Be different.

Most competitors will show pictures of pretty girls, blondes and stuff. Should you show then? Are you being different.

Not giving my campaigns away, these are some strategies to improve your CTR in this tough niche.

Further, always always bid CPM. CPC is too expensive and more for brand marketers, agencies. Using CPC shows that you are new to the game.

Regarding landing pages, I direct link because dating LPs are nice. I know it is not the best way and there are other ways to slice the pie. You may want to consider collecting emails and blasting them more special offers and stuff.

Facebook is good because it is demographic specific.

Golden tip: You can use this demographic's biggest itch, collect their email and sell them solutions. Of course, couple this with the CPA offer in your autoresponder.

    ;)

Great share, for whatever reason people are really afraid of Facebooks PPC..

I actually use ad blindness in my favour.. It works best with high paying offers. The more they see something, more they will trust it.

Like I target really small groups and go with CPC.. Since the target is so small they will see the ad severa times. That will eventually build trust (familiarity) and they will click, when they click they are far more likely to complete then the guy who sees it once..

@Enrikole. It is great a great strategy. I did not have luck with high paying offers on facebook and they do not offer any shady rebills.

Have you tried small demographic targeting with company+age range. This could increase your offer's CTR.

@twilla. ad blindness is when a consumer sees and ad so often that he does not "see" it. He conveniently forgets about them.

Just imagine when you walk pass your street today. How many ads do you really see. and how many you conveniently just gloss over and not remember them
