    Hey guys,
I have an cougars(older women) dating website. I got an email from google saying they were no longer going to crawl my site cause it violates googles terms. The reason given was "thin content." What exactly does that mean and what do I need to do to get it back in compliance? Can any of you blackhatters please take a look and let me know what I need to do? PM me for the site URL as I do not have enough posts to be able to include it here. Thanks!

How many pages of content do you have on the website? Is it mostly duplicate content?

It's probably some crappy review website.

Post the whole message not just the part you want to believe. Was it the pure spam message? Cuz if so, you're fucked and likely your site is of no value.

Update: I looked at his website...there is no unique text, you need to have some of your own text on your website, it can't just be a template that hundreds of other people use.

Thin content is content that is of no value to searchers. Your website needs a revamp content-wise.

"Thin content" means "The content which has no Value to readers". Its better to write unique quality content for all your webpages, then your website will get indexed in Google with out any problem.

If it's a dating site and you have all those members why don't you put them to work to complete their profile with a bio, short story about them and stuff like that and get a lot of unique fresh content for your site?

I think most of the content on your site are duplicate. Thin content means whose content which haven't any value for traffic. You need to change your content and write some unique content.

I would describe thin content as LQ content . Useless.
