    Well,

It seems that even when you try to create a thread and help people, you still end up getting screwed.

Someone has somehow gotten into my Articlesbase account, for which I use to promote my products, and has changed my password, locked me out, and replaced my affiliate links with theirs.

Their Clickbank affiliate name is "Babyhug"

I will pay for anyone who finds this person and can help me out.

I have already contacted my lawyer, Clickbank, Articlesbase, and a few other IM'rs who you wouldn't want to have on your bad side.

So I suggest if "Babyhug" is reading this, your time is running out.

    This is just too disappointing..

Sorry to hear that... that's really sad but also not surprising. Someone saw an easy way to steal your commissions and just took action on it. Hope you hear back from articlesebase and get your account back.

Yes.. It seems that the same person who got into Articlesbase's server and was re-directing users to that spammy "ask david" site, is the same guy who got into my account and replaced all my affiliate links.. "Babyhug" is his nickname..

Go ahead and post that screenshot fulcanelli

I sent Tyler a screenshot of the hijacked site. Where you end up [well me and several others] when you try to go to AB. I didn't want to post it right away but wanted to make sure Tyler wanted it shared first considering the circumstances.

    Code:

I'm pretty sure babyhugg targeted you solely based off the method thread. From what I can tell I am still getting hops [PROBABLY]. I don't promote my CB links anywhere else so I wouldn't be getting hops if he jacked my account.

OUCH! Sorry about that man that suxxx! :yield:

quotesvista.com is hosted on the "NS2171.HOSTGATOR.COM" server at hostgator and has privacy domain registration
HOWEVER, with that said that hosting account could be hijacked as well and the owner innocent.
The google adsense ID on that page is
pub-0867632416312597 and is MORE THAN LIKELY the hijackers account.
You can contact the domain owner at:
    http://quotesvista.com/contact
and tell/ask if the "askdavid.quotesvista.com" is actually their subdomain and if not their account has been compromised, etc.

How do you know their clickbank ID is "babyhugg"?
In the image that you had the "babyhugg" is their hostgator user/account name and NOT their clickbank ID.

When you are talking about "AB" do you mean articlebase?
If so I go to it with no problems so it could be your browser is hijacked.

What is the "method thread" you are referring to?

    HTH .... :cool2:

EDIT: The adsense ID on the contact page is the SAME as the "askdavid" page (all thru the site) so is more than likely the domain owners. (possible innocent)

Sorry to hear that Tyler. Thanks for letting everyone know. I'm sure it's very easy for Clickbank to find out that nickname and its associated account and that person.

The guys clickbank ID is "Babyhug" because the guy took over one of my article accounts at Articlesbase which had around 100 articles, and he changed each one from my affiliate name (tvision10) to his (babyhug)... So basically this coward is now making sales off of MY hard work and articles. I have contacted clickbank and they are handling it, as is articlesbase.

It makes me dis-heartened to see that some POS would rather steal someone's hard work, rather than do their own and make the same money..

Well, there is some good news here.. I went to some of my articles which are still up on articlesbase, (the ones from the account this guy stole from me) and when I clicked on the dude's hoplink, it took me to a blank page saying:

"The link you clicked on has expired. The link was created by an affiliate of the ClickBank network whom has since been deactivated or temporarily suspended. We apologize for any inconvenience!"

So at least Clickbank is doing their part to try and stop this guy...

Good to hear it - he won't last long when everyone jumps on him!

That doesn't however help restore all your hard work, etc.

Good to hear that. There are lots of scumbags in IM. That thief should be banned from every affiliate vendors for life.

I am curious how you found out?? How could that POS log in your account and know your password??

Yeah.. I don't know how in the hell this guy got my account details.. I found out when I went to log into my account and write some articles, and was denied saying "Invalid Password".. Then I found that my articles were still up, only with this guy's affiliate links instead of mine..

POS is right. At least I got him off CB for now..

Can CB redirect funds to your account for the sales that happened with Babyhug id to your account after your account was hacked?

If that thief can hack into your account, he/she would do that to other people's accounts, too.

I doubt it.. They closed his account and didn't give me any sales. And the guy still has my Article account.. Articlesbase on the other hand is taking forever to get back to me.. Go figure

How can you prove to articlebase that account is yours since you are using pen names?

man very sorry to hear this but shits do happen...i remember one day i was also hacked of my SEO site just because the hacker knew my email address (so he hacked that and he clicked on "forgot password" on Godaddy and boom I lost my website, wtf...)

Internet is just too insecure. Next time you shouldnt tell anyone your username in articlesbase, too risky..

By the way guys, I got my article account back yesterday. (woo-hoo..)

And now I am going through the process of sifting through almost 100 articles, and changing every single link from that scammer's affiliate nickname to mine. Not a fun task..

At least he's banned from CB and AB.

    GREAT news! Good for you!

Instead of 'sifting' just put them in a folder and turn a find n replace loose on them! :yield:
BOOM - done in ten seconds!

    MUCH faster and easier!

    HTH .... :cool2:

LOL, I had to laugh at this one. Not very intimidating. I know a few Mexican Mafia guys.

Let's do it, your IM'ers vs my Mexican Mafia. 12 o'clock noon at the bar.

And no I'm not Babyhug, the quoted sentence was just too funny not to screw with.
