I am planning a new blog, I need your opinion what are the best wordpress theme in 2014 that are responsive, good speed and seo buildup I?d love to know pls?

thanks

I own both and I just prefer Genesis. I simply find Genesis more elegant and clean-looking and customization in Thesis is really hard.

Speed, responsiveness and SEO-wise, I bet they're just equal. Both frameworks are responsive and chosen because of the speed enhancement that it boasts. Both frameworks also offer SEO settings features.

If you're considering other factors aside from speed, responsiveness and SEO, then my take and preference goes to Genesis.

I have Genesis. Works good, peoples interact with my website. In first month ( january ), bounce rate was over 95%, not its aroun 60% and still decrease.

Thesis is quite good as Chris designed it with SEO and load times as the main factors (as well as customization). Their forum is packed with advice/help.

Genesis Forever. Especially for Made for Adsense sites.

man it depends on you. both are nice and stands likes a boss when it comes for wp framework . no other stands around them. load time difference is 0.085 sec (thesis win)
but thesis is not for code repelers. and new version need a person to be well coder to use it as he want while in genesis everything is under mouse clicks(genesis won)

last is the price :)

Haven't used Genesis much. Used to use Thesis, in the 1.x days. If you want something simple and free, go with Thematic. If you want responsive, get the Visual Composer plugin.

For SEO, just use Yoast.

The reason for such a suggestion, is I don't like a ton of unnecessary customisability, i.e. the Thesis backend. A simple "style.css" will keep me happy.

To answer your question, I'd take Thesis, just for the sake of familiarity.

for my personal purposes due to copyright-tos-price I bought genesis, it is very easy to use and most of themes are responsive. but I love the design of thesis

Genesis would be preferable , but why limited to two only ? Tthere are a lot of themes out int he market which are even better than these two.

I'm a Genesis user also... I find it easy and elegant to use, but I'm sure Thesis and other premium themes are also good. I guess it depends on your preference.

Genesis is user friendly and easy to handle. I prefer Genesis

I know I am not able to give you a good answer since I dont advocate either of them.
The best way to go is setting up a custom cms.
This is the fastest and easiest way to rank since it is not loaded with plugins and has the highest unique content (coding footprint) among the more popular cms.

I'm using genesis for all of my website and my clients websites..It's easy to customize by using hooks..

thanks for all, the final I will use genesis I like them Unlimited updates
I have moved all our low & mid range wordpress sites to be based on Genesis now.
The flexibility of the framework is amazing now can Integrating WooCommerce with Genesis Connect For WooCommerce plugin

Genesis is by far the most noob friendly for customization. I use it as a base for all my WordPress themes. I use WP Super Cache to speed things up and disable the factory installed SEO features from genesis. I use SEO by Yoast and Analytics. If you're not comfortable with coding, you can pick up wp visual composer from WPBakery... Great plugin, has some cool features and I've never had any issues with it. If you have any questions about Genesis, PM me.. I'd be glad to help out!

My preferences goes to Genesis as it can be customized, SEO friendly and much more responsive in terms of features and support.

been developing websites for more than 5 years,

In the first three years, I've been using Thesis (until version 1.8)

after the release of Thesis 2.0 I switched to genesis.

Both Framework are good, in terms of speed/cleanliness and SEO I think they are equal.

I just find Thesis after 2.0 release more complicated to develop than what I expected.

I've no idea about thesis anymore, but Genesis support both XHTML and HTML5 and have implemented Schema.org mark-up.
