Dwayne Lafleur is the Ezoic founder and he shared a tweet where he showed how many websites in your very typical niches (tech, entertainment, home, garden) are getting EPM of $500+ which is just unheard of in the Niche site discussions. Here is a selection of a few of the sites making that much:

Niche: Tech
EPMV: $597

FYJc-IdVEAAKHes

Niche: Entertainment
EPMV: $149

FYJfPfVVUAAT5uV

Niche: Home/Garden
EPMV: $121
Monthly Revenue: $100,000 - $200,000

Niche: Dating & Relationships
EPMV: $173
Monthly Revenue: $50,000 - $100,000

Niche: Travel
EPMV: $86
Monthly Revenue: $25,000 - $50,000

Then he shared the reasoning behind why some sites are making $500+ EPMV (which means for 1k visitors, they make $500), whereas many websites in the same niche are not able to cross $20 EPMV.

REASONING:
  1. Commercial intent (writing about your favorite bicycle trails is different that writing about your favorite bicycle brand / model)
  2. Engagement (some topics people are looking for a quick answer and they are done, the users are more engaged / spend more time/view more pages)
  3. Audience (some sites get affluent U.S. users that command a high price from advertisers, others don't)
  4. Device/circumstance (some queries drive more traffic from people on-the-go which may monetize lower - think "how to fix a flat tire on a civic" vs "best tires for a civic". Both auto niche.
  5. Then he makes a Pitch for Ezoic (sneaky-sneaky :D)

Yeah, saw people bashing him on Twitter but these are some refresh tips as well.

I admit the 4th point is something you probably wouldn't think about. However the rest is just logical no? Feels like most people that give away tips just say the most logical a obvious things :D

And honestly with how he is, I wouldn't be surprised if he was making up the screenshots. I know some people reported him to some financial authority in the UK.

I recently had the pleasure to meet a fellow coder banking on around $800 ePMV.
He basically gets a sale for his code every 500 visitors. Makes over $1,600/day, every day, for the last 2 years.

Needless to say, that piece of code costs like $40 on Upwork.

Best part? He has an impressive number of 41 articles on his blog.

Wow, the EPMVs are amazing.

The world of blogging is just magnificent.

That's really awesome, niche digital items can make so much money and you don't need much.

Sometimes it's the most obvious things that people overlook or underthink. Especially when the new learners here have to sift through all the fluff, and get distracted by the BS journey screenshots/claims.

Whether or not Dwayne is sugar-coating, this is a good post from Daddy that will get some people thinking on the right track.

Yeah, my intention was just to refresh some learnings. That's all.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love the stuff @RealDaddy posts and his hustle. I personally don't use twitter and he often posts golden nuggets, I found many interesting things thanks to him :).

I was talking in general about other people and about the ezoic founder.

Btw I don't think there are any BS journeys going on. I have been on this forum for over 9 years and read so many. If it's BS, mods are quick to act.

All good on my end mate :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, always a pleasure to chat with people who are doing amazing in SEO.
Take care & much love.

Does he sell the code on his own site or 3rd party sites such as codecanyon etc?

Wouldn't it be worth creating a site about a high-ticket niche like these and instead of working with SEO, attract only people through paid traffic? In general it is not worth it, the ROI is negative, but if the EPMV is $100, it is certainly worth it.

If someone can share exact blog url of such websites, it would be nice case study. I am sure lot would be spent on content for those websites.

It's not a high ticket niche, read the first post again.
in fact I expressed myself badly, sorry
but to promote with paid traffic, articles about ''best hotels in cancun'', ''5 electric bikes to buy in 2022'', etc
