These are the 2 most complained about adverts of 2014 - and they were both brilliant!

These are the two adverts the Advertising Standards Authority received the most complaints about in 2014.

The first one was by Paddy Power, a UK betting chain. It was about the Oscar Pistorious trial and was offering a money back guarantee if he was found not guilty - it got so many complaints it was pulled rapidly.

The second one is a booking.com TV advert. It was also pulled quickly. So quickly in fact, that this looks like the only video of it. It's also very amusing.

I thought the first one was genius but clearly a lot of people didn't.

What do you guys think of them?

I can see people getting bent out of shape over Pistorious, he's a controversial person. Plus, the ad seemed to have a double entendre referring to his handicap.

I don't see the problem with the second. People will remember them for a while. Good job

    Roses are red,
    Violets are glorious,
    Never sneak up,
    on Oscar Pistorious

Both of these are great. I think the paddy power one fits well for their audience. I'm guessing other people seen it online and complained. The booking.com one is booking epic
