maybe, depending on what the domain is, and if the company wants it bad enough that they come after you. FB is the worst ive seen for this.

    for full understanding visit http://ilt.eff.org/index.php/Trademark:_Domain_Names

I face the same confusion one year back when I find a keyword contain company's name and nearly no competition and very easy to rank on Google. At that time I am not sure and even today I am confused (lol) so after getting some traffic and income I sold that site on Flip.p.a.

dont use them! just check this report released today: hxxp://torrentfreak.com/u-s-government-seizes-bittorrent-search-engine-domain-and-more-101126/

most of those sites are not related to filesharing..
you will find that the domain names contain registered trademarks/product names like:
    nfl,ipod, rolex,nike, etc..
