hypothetically speaking, let's say I'm an expert at finding profitable products from Chinese imports and can generate purchase catalogs with the following details:

-list of 100 items, multiple lists available
-profitable, ranging anywhere from 20% to 3000% profit margins
-ebay value typically $5-$50 per item
-random/near random niche/categories, hard for list to become useless due to diversity
-verified to be sellable on ebay via "recently sold" research
-typically profitable even when listing as the lowest option on ebay
    -100% whitehat
    -not vero protected
    -not bootleg/fake/etc
-direct link for where to purchase the item
-all estimated values and costs shared for verification
-nothing for customs to be mad about, no concern of legal consequences

Essentially taking the entire work out for you and answering the age old question we always hear here ie "hey guys tell me what to sell plz"

    questions:
    1. what would a list like that be worth to you? 10? 50? 100? 1000? 5000?
    2. if there are multiple lists, would you anticipate paying a higher price for more diversity in options, or less due to "wholesale/bulk list purchasing"
    3. alternative service/product method A- monthly payment for 24/7 access to the entire list at all times in order to see live updates, items removed/added for you automatically, etc
    4. Alternative service/product method B- same thing as A, but only for the 1x list of 100 items, with each alternate list being a separate service if you want it

reminder this is hypothetical so don't PM me asking me for it

Unfortunately people don't pay for lists like that. They will pay for a website that auto-updates with those offers but not the list.

So you might be better off building a web template and using it yourself or selling the template - oh hypothetically of course.

How odd, I wouldn't have guessed that. It's essentially the same thing only one is a website the other is just a list/txt/spreadsheet/wahtever, wouldn't think there'd be a hard segregation of desire like that

so then to continue the line of thought - lets say i make a website as you described:

    1. one time payment for current list, or monthly subscription for 24/7 access to updates?
    2. what would you be willing to pay for each of those?

    another thought:
what about "I point you to 1x item of said quality in return for one time payment of X. Each item is found specifically for you and are never re-sold to another person"

or would that be the same as the list not being of interest to people?

The people that you are targeting would be newbies - so a subscription website model would be good.
