Suppose someone sold an item that got VERO'ed and removed about 2 years ago. The punishment was a 1 month Ebay-ban (or similar duration).
Now that someone wants to try to list one or two more of the same items again, using the same account. Very bad idea? And what would the punishment be this time, 1 month ban or permanent ban?

    Your "friend"?

I'd guess it would be another 1 month ban, based on my logical way of thinking, but I actually know nothing about ebay.

PS: There are no gurus here dude. They are all too busy selling each other recycled rubbish in WF.

Hahaha. I seriously hope that isn't true. If it is, I think I better start looking for a day-job and stop wheeling and dealing on the interwebz.

Thanks for your input all the same.

Yes it's kind of the bad idea, try to sell other stuff more legit.

2 vero hits on the same account will most likely lead to a NARU. However, 2 years is a long time and i am not sure if ebay will keep the info for that long. If this account is not valued very highly why not go for it ? Worse case scenario is losing the account.

Still, it doesn't make much sense to list only an item that may go vero. Selling vero items is a tricky thing and unless you can sneak it through it will be removed before a sale occurs and you have gained nothing but put your account in jeopardy.

Remember that vero is not done by ebay. Here a lot of people make the mistakes. Vero is just a program that ebay needed to implement but ebay is not the gatekeeper of it. Just the judge and executioner.

Repeating the same offense with the same account will get your account banned, very bad idea!

Since the account was slapped once for selling high risk items you will cause a major red flag suddenly listing the same problem as
before and the time duration between sales does not matter. Try selling low risk items until you get your feedback up and then you
can work on selling more high risk items.

it used to be 3 strikes your out, as i broke vero rules many times, over many accounts, although i haven't broke them recently, so i doubt they will be any less harsh.
