When I see, not only on this forum by the way, some seller saying on the one hand "we do not offer this", "we accept bitcoin", "we offer this discount" and on the other hand they post somewhere "no bro", "what are you talking about", I always imagine some bro in his underwear with no social life and in a room with no furniture posting this from a dusty keyboard salivating trying to present himself like you think you talking to a Ford or a Bank of America agent.

I have to do this here on BHW whenever I write posts that represent the staff, forum, or company. You'll notice this mostly in the forum suggestions and feedback section.

I'll admit, I don't like doing this because it makes me feel like I have a collective of identities in my head. Even still, I understand why I have to.

what are you talking about

bro o_O

It's one thing when you do your job and when you need to re/present it on a professional level every day, that's understandable and so it should be.

But, it's another thing when someone tries to present their work on a professional level forcefully.

When typing "we", but there is one person behind the screen.

It's too easy to recognize such people today.

You need to use "we" if you have corporate entity. In that case, remember, you are not your company.
I am going to start such entity in few months instead sole trader and I am going to use "we" because I need to.

I will admit that I did this in the early days of my business, back when it was just me.

I only started doing it when I noticed clients treated me better when they thought there was a team of professionals behind the work rather than just some guy. Some people will see you as being more established in that circumstance, whereas when it was just me, they thought I was just some kid they could take advantage of. After all, it's difficult to sell your work to others when you're 19 years old and you're in competition with established companies and people who have decade-old portfolios to hand out to clients.

It is a misleading thing to do, and I found out later on that the simpler solution was to to just stop taking on any old client.
Those washing machines didn't stand a chance against my super Saiyan swagger.
"If only there was a junkyard nearby to give him a proper burial"

If you got sometime to kill today and chilling, have a go at the Dispute subforum and feel the creeps rising deep from the very base of your spine.

"what are you talking about" is very common. I can make anyone ask this question. :)

This dude you described must be so exhausted by sitting in those underwear pants. I can only imagine their struggle with no shower for weeks trying to grind dollar after dollar.

If you read this dear person described, I recommmend getting a job, and getting a life. Learn some language and emigrate if you can't afford life locally.

I guess 90% of people that use the term “we” do not have one worker employed :D
