Here's an idea for getting some natural social signals.

Add funny images related to your niche to a certain part of your site and then put a social share plugin next to the pictures. People are way more likely to share something funny than some review. Who knows, an image could even go legitimately viral and get you a tons of visits.

I guess the main problem with this idea is dealing with the risk of using images that aren't yours, however. I'm not sure how much of a risk this is considering funny pictures are constantly being reused by websites.

You could still make the images yourself or even come up with funny content. Funny= actual natural social shares

For example, if you ran a refrigerator review site, you could add pics like this: http://icanhas.cheezburger.com/tag/refrigerator

People are always willing to share funny animal stuff.

try not to overreact to the updates going on at the moment - let them complete and then assess where your at .. definately don't spam a bunch of links at the moment - just add content or leave it alone for a week.

sites are going to go up and down - normally this is a good thing as gets rid of some of the real crap you see floating around.

I am not going to say anymore on this till next weekend and assess what the good and the bad parts of it were.

Hello Amazon experts, is being amazon affiliate as long term focus a good choice now?
I need something to rely and focus on. I have all the time in the world (resigned my job 1 year ago and start making money solely from internet, I have made some money but they were all short term, I still have a little passive income from my previous effort but I need to find new income source before starving) and learn everything necessary, but note that I am not so good in English as it is not my mother tongue.
I have no skill/experience in scripting/creating website and I have been lurking in BHW and WF actively since last month to learn as much as I can regarding how people make money online. I can only afford minimal investment to test a method unless I decided to focus on it. I need to focus on something which can eventually become my expertise, and something that I can teach people one day later, or something that I can tell my friends proudly when they ask "What are you working as now?"
I'd guilty to tell that I have not taken any actions after reading so much on forum, simply because I do not want to focus on something which is short term (potential hero to zero methodS).
Sorry for such long post, I am here more for opinion and spiritual support. I also need advice regarding this WSO I stumbled upon (WF dot com/warrior-special-offers-forum/743264-original-earnings-guarantee-commissions-30-days-less-ill-buy-your-site-back.html) if it's worth it for such a newbie like me or it's just pure crap.

Sounds to me Amazon is what you should be in.

But with no money or little money - its going to be impossible to get 10-20 Sites that you need to have a stable income ... also it takes 2-4 months to start to see more consistent sales... so it can be very frustrating initially working but not earning anything.

So maybe you should do something else like CPA to make some money and then come back to this.

How much investment is needed to start with 1 site first? Is there any work that is required to be outsourced? (for a newbie like me). I can invest some money (below $500) as long as it pays off, but I am wondering is it reliable for long term against google updates? I read lots of threads regarding thousands of amazon aff sites tanked from google updates in these few days which makes me worry, I need more opinion on this.
My target daily earning is $30, I need to know the difficulty level to get it achieved. If I reached that point, it will be much relief for me (and I can sleep well every night ) and also to decide how to scale the things up. ($1k USD income per month in my city is considered rich and luxury, fresh degree graduate only make $400-$600 here )

I have also read a lot regarding CPA...or you have any good tips on how to start off in CPA for me?

I would stay away he is just producing basic clone sites for everyone they all look the same, if you read all of this thread you will see it is better to go magazine style theme and make it look unique. Especially after these last few days where Google seem to be going after thin cloned Amazon affiliate sites.

Hey, surprised to see you here. I read your E-book few days ago since I saw your post in WF. You were the very few people I subscribed to.
So it is difficult to reach $1k/month with amazon aff site actually? I only expect to have such result in 2-3 months time focusing on it.
When developing on amazon aff site, what are money mainly invested on? I'm surprised that $500 couldn't do much >.<

Making $600 a month with Amazon is pretty simple - I've done it using 3 different methods -- but moving above that requires better quality / more organization / better keyword targeting and experience --> assuming your relying on Google to provide the traffic .. if you have another way to drive traffic then it maybe alot easier for you.

$500 can get you along way - but you start out saying you have little to no money - so who knows what the truth is.

Just as a general comment - if you go and buy Amazon Sites from someone that are all the same / with moderate to low quality content / no customization and poor graphics / plugin issues
then your setting yourself up to fail .. as at some point Google can take you and others out.

Anyway I guess no matter how much I or other people make some simple warnings there are always going to be people who think they will be the exception rather than the rule.

I wont give you CPA tips as its not the thread's subject.

However, if you dont have much money, here is what I recommend you.

-Buy 3 differents domains, 3 different niches, 3 different themes.

-Write 20 articles per site targetting different keywords

-Build a facebook twitter G+ page.

-promote you pages (bookmarks, press release, social signals)

once its done get back to us with the result. All in all, it would cost you around 150 or 200$ if you do everything manually.

Hi Dany1111 great thread. I'm brand new to Internet Marketing and would like to follow your method to try and promote some products on Amazon. I've read through most of the thread but haven't come across a really good summary post and there is a lot of information here to digest!

From what I gather your preferred method is to find a product on Amazon that sells for a larger price i.e. $200+ and market that. I went onto Amazon and found a product that has a healthy comments section and is selling for $200+ but what is the next step?

Would I know use a tool to find some keywords that people would type into google when looking for the product I am trying to market?

Danny have you ever experienced that an item gets ordered but you never get credited for it? Last month I sold a pretty expensive item and it's been over two weeks and it hasn't been credited.
Are these just insane delays in getting it shipped or does it mean that it was refunded, canceled etc?

It's probably the person ordered it changed his mind at the last step, but the item is still in his shopping cart. It's quite normal with expensive items. Just my experience.
