Too many bloggers fail because they fall for 2 Common myths

These misconceptions are SO POPULAR that they DESTROY so many bloggers' chances of success.

Chances are good that if YOU can't seem to make money with your blog, you BELIEVE in these MYTHS.

STOP believing the BS below and START making real money through your blog.

    Myth #1:

You have to UPDATE FREQUENTLY to pull traffic

    WRONG.

Unless you're in a niche that requires FREQUENT UPDATES like stock news or any news-related blog that is all about fast-developing information, you are simply WASTING YOUR TIME BLOGGING THIS WAY.

    Want to succeed with blogging?

    BLOG LESS! PROMOTE MORE!

I know your jaw dropped to the floor, but I need you to OPEN YOUR MIND to the following:

Don't focus on how often you blog.

Instead, focus on posting 1 BLOG POST that does the following:

    Catches your audience's attention
    Meets your audience's needs
    Can build audience LOYALTY

After you've come up with such content, PROMOTE THE HELL OUT OF IT But....

How do you create HIGH QUALITY CONTENT THAT PEOPLE WILL PAY ATTENTION TO?

Actually, the answer leads to Myth #2

Myth #2: You have to create something NEW

    BS!!!!!!!

    nope.

That's a sure way to fail.

    Why?

You might create something new but if not enough people care about it, you won't make money!

The better way is to FIND TOPICS that are already HOT in your niche and FOCUS on those

Here's the twist: don't approach those topics like everyone else.

For example, if eating pupusas is a very popular topic in your niche, you might want to write something about THE HIDDEN DANGER ABOUT PUPUSAS THAT CAN KILL YOU

Come up with a well-researched, graphically engaging blog post and SHARE with sites/blogs that focus on pupusas.

    See how that works?

You GET the same LEVEL OF ATTENTION and INTEREST But........

You stand out from the crowd

Simply POLLUTING the Internet with yet another 'Pupusas taste great and I love them' blog post isn't going to get you noticed

It's definitely not going to put money in your pocket

    GO AGAINST THE GRAIN

Study sites like Upworthy and ViralNova and see how they do it.

Now get out there AND MAKE MONEY BLOGGING!

My advice is ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT if you're relying on Adsense for income.

You need to get both VOLUME and HIGH PAYING traffic for Adsense to work out.

You can't do this (again, depending on your niche), if you focus most of your energy on blogging daily.

Get out there and network with other bloggers.

Figure out influence leaders on social media and get them to PROMOTE YOUR CONTENT.

Here's an OPEN SECRET: If you have SOLID CONTENT, people will share your stuff VOLUNTARILY.

Just check out how Brian Dean got huge.

You can start working on doing the same thing.

Also, if you want to attract AMERICAN TRAFFIC, make sure your English is flawless.

Another key to successful blogging: RECYCLE your content by turning it into other MEDIA TYPES

Turn your article into a video

Turn your article into an email series

    Work once, profit many times.

    Good advice, blackbeans.

    I'd like to add:

Myth #3: You need to build backlinks to a new blog post for it to perform.

Posts will perform on their own if it is a quality post, and will attract links naturally.

Myth #4: Social shares aren't important an important search metric.

Increased social exposure will encourage others to share, and more eyes on your content means more organic links and shares.

Myth #5: You can grow a new blog very quickly and get traffic in just a few months.

It can take months or even years of producing quality content to grow a formidable amount of traffic. Be patient and very persistent. Most people give up before they see success.

    Hope this helps!

yes the content will perform on their own if it is of good quality but this doesn't mean you should not promote it. How does it then get to the intended reader?. apart from that part, i agree with most of your advice and thanks for that

You can always use something like social monkey for each post as well as all the ping services already imported into your wordpress, this speeds things up for traffic.
