Warning to all thinking about getting on Fiverr to be a seller, think twice, these dumb asses are multiplying by the day!
    1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg

I hate to waste all this time on such a petty amount of money, but it's not the money, it's the principle, i fucking hate scammers. Hope I taught this punk a lesson by taking his 5$.
He left a 1 star review after, but eh who cares, once you get big on fiverr you get used to those!

Hahaha, I am fiverr seller as well. I deal with these 'people' almost everyday. I don't even respond to half of them

lol you're nicer than me that's for sure, I fuck with them sometimes long after. I'll just leave a plays stream running for months or something to ruin their credibility. I get creative lmao.

Lol, you're giving me ideas, definitely considering screwing with a few new buyers that are acting like idiots.

Hahaha I remember when I had to deal with these types all the time. Just don't think about it, refund and move on is how I got on with it.

a negative review could cost you more than $5, plus the whole hassle doesn't worth the time and effort you put into it just to show who's the boss, i mean if you don't care about that particular gig and you have a lot of positive feedbacks overall, one negative won't hurt much, but making a habit out of this isn't a good idea imho

maybe fiverr is getting good at banning these type of buyers, maybe i'm just lucky, but i don't experience them lately

can it be that you have too much time on your hand? :p

It can be difficult when you know someone is a fraud and trying to steal to just give a refund but ye $5 isn't worth ruining your feedback

You're lucky man I get them all the time, maybe it's different in different niches though. I could be using my time better that's for sure, just waiting for these sites to rank, I get antsy. :clap2:

The worst is when a competitor buys multiple gigs different accounts to try and screw your feedback up.

agreed, nobody likes to get scammed, but it is still wiser to let these cases go, no matter how hard it is, at least until there's a better system where things like this can't happen, which is just an utopia sadly

Had someone try to get free work from me on Elance. It was a lot more than $5, but if you think you did the work and the buyer is trying to scam you, stick to your guns. I went through arbitration and even the arbiter called him out on what he was doing. Got my money, got 1 star, but never had an issue from it.

The buyer went through all of that to scam MartysWORLD out of $5 refund? He could have made more than $5 with the time he wasted.

    Silly pauper.

Thought that too. It's $5 and it's Fiverr. Just let it go, give the man his $5 and let it go.

Had a big studio do this to me. I id the work which costed me an out of pocket expense, then 15 days later they reversed the charges. I had proof and documentation of doing the said project, and I got my money back. The studio outsources for thousands of dollars, where they resell to other same niche companies for millions of dollars. I specifically mark my work so I know what to look for and how to track it, and I found out that they made about 1,500x the amount of money they tried to scam me for off of about 3 different companies.

I confirm the purchases with buyers, I go over details and essentials for them to agree with me on, finally I provide in detail absolute proof that said service or product was completed. This reduces the scammers by 80% as most aren't so smart. The 20% that are smarter then have to fight the payment processors. Finally it only comes down to about 3% that can get away with not paying, which amounts to chump change down the drain yearly.

Reputation is better then money in my experience, that one bad review could possibly hurt you in the long run. I prefer to refund if there are such issues, luckily i have not received much refund requests(no fiverr though, sales from my websites), maybe 1 out of 100.

In the social media niche you will get this all the time. Soundcloud plays, twitter followers, youtube views. Buyers will always complain.

I remember when some buyer scammed me on my traffic gig... So I send him 20,000 visitors everyday for a week.
But after 3 days his website was taken down buy his host company because of the high traffic volume. He had cheap hosting.

I thought to myself hahahahhah I got you, I won YES!!!!!
but then I realised that it's was just a big waste of time and effort on my part, but it did fill good..

Now if I sense a TOXIC Customer i just issue a refund and move on...
