The smartest thing I did was add an opt-in list to my autoblogs. I finished the modification two weeks ago and I get an average of 1:60 that visit my blogs signup.

So now I have a targeted email list of around 1000 and growing!

I have no idea why I didn't do this before. It is definitely a permanent part of my autoblog recipe.

Are you offering some sort of incetive for people to signup?

Is there some sort of free report etc as the incentive?

I am using Interspire to manage my email list for signup. I just put a snip of code on the bottom for the user to put in their name and email.

Can you explain how to put the actual form code in your blog? Where did you get it from?

I am using SmartSerialMail but am having a hard time figuring out how to get a form.

    Thanks

There should be a code generation link somewhere in the SmartSerialMail admin, just copy the code it generates into your page

I'm just setting up a link farm over serveral domains, and I was thinking about doing this, though I was going use an incentive, guess i'll do a split test with incentive/no-incentive

I just had a brief view on phplist - opensource, many features and very customizable.

What do you think about that?

Do you think it is possible to be integrated in wpmu in a way that

each subscriber gets some additional data assigned, namely the keywords of the current page and later I can send targeted emails by keyword?

Does it mean that you had 60,000 visits in two weeks time?
How many autoblogs do you have got?

Sounds pretty cool. Is it more of a user thing? Like they can leave comments and stuff if they put in they sign up or...???

Having an email list is a huge plus, what script are you using?

I use get response for my list. And I've setup around 15 emails to go out, one every week.

It works pretty well for affiliate stuff.

I've been using aweber for a couple years now. We always provide some sort of incentive to get people to sign up. For those who do not have or know how to get something to give away here's a simple solution.

If you are promoting an affiliate product chances are someone has already created and ebook or email series for that product or niche. Sign up for their give away and now you have one you can use.

You can use it word for word (if you don't mind copying someone else's work) or you can have it rewritten.

Cloning is always a good way to test a new niche. If it turns out profitable then you can go about creating all your own stuff.

For those that use clickbank a lot there are endless products there. Any product with a long term high gravity has more than likely worked all the bugs out of the copy...Always a good idea to take advantage of someone else's work.
