It's time for my second journey away from the beneficial, yet immoral and disgusting world of social network and instant message e-whoring, a sequel of sorts to my Theme Park method. I'm going to go ahead and call this one the Slam Method, for reasons you will soon see.
I recently bought my first domain, http://www.freethemeparktickets.info. It was pretty exciting to learn a small bit of the ins and outs of actual website design and promotion, as well as search engine optimization. I have learned that there is in fact a world beyond Blogger blogs, Digging posts, and Facebook promoting.
Now, regardless, I am still working on the Theme Park method, and my website is still in its inner workings of becoming something great. However, as always, another moneymaking idea popped into my head as I was editing the homepage.
The total start-up cost for the Slam Method is $1.19. Give or take a few dollars, depending on coupons and .[INS] suffixes. http://www.godaddy.com offers 99-cent .info domain names at the moment. Also currently available are 99-cent .com domain names when using a certain coupon code. These are per year, mind you, and also come with a 20-cent charge tacked onto them, for a grand total of $1.19.
Once you have the domain purchased, you need hosting. That can be found free at http://www.000webhost.com. At first, I was wary of the service, as I had sifted through a fair share of mixed reviews from validated and trustworthy sources. But, for beginners in the web design set-up, it works just fine at the moment.
Integrating the domain name with the hosting plan is simple as it gets. There's a button for it, no need to walk you through at all. Then just change the nameservers on your GoDaddy domain name tools for the domain which you chose, and you are all connected.
Wordpress is easily the current best 2 megabytes on my computer. The download at http://www.wordpress.org works fine for my Apple Macbook, as far as unzipping he files and uploading them to 000webhost is concerned. Once uploaded to the hosting area, Wordpress is installed and ready to be used/customized.
The preceding steps were all technical, just to get yourself off the ground and running. Now comes the concept, and it comes form your own mind. I am simply providing an example. The first step in this method is to find something or someone who you really do not like. My example is going to be Miley Cyrus, as she is easy to not like.
Hopefully, in this case, you purchased a domain name such as http://www.mileycyrushatearea.com or http://www.ihatemieycyrus.info or something creative, such as http://www.mielycyruswillbethedeathof.us. Time to do some slamming.
Find as much dirt as possible on this victim. Collect it, organize it in Notepad or Microsoft Word or xPad, or whatever you use. Change some of the content to make it unique Only post once per day. Use your preferred plug-ins to generate traffic to your new slam blog. There are tips and resources everywhere as far as this is concerned. When you post, Digg it. Submit it to as many social bookmarking websites as possible.
Buy a bit of genuine, original, unique traffic, it'll be worth it in the future. Keep it updated. That is a problem that I see in most blogging ideas here on Blackhatworld. They're autoblogs, and after a while they screw up and start to look like crap. Original, manually-driver blogs are what makes the hands-on money.
Hope this idea works for you. Best of luck! Any questions, ask away.
