$1 per 1,000 impression. Nice. But my adsense (blog) seem more ok. Rpm now maintain $5-6

So for 100k pv i usually made $500+
 
it depends a lot , a looot .
for example 1 guy in shopify niche, entrepenour niche made $6k for 600k views in 1 month ...
so go figure

It's depend cpm on country
If you got click ad for 1000 make 300-500 dollar

One poor guy that did not want to work UP TO 5 HOURS PER WEEK to create a video that bring him between $100 and $1k. (He decided to make videos less frequently because he wasn’t enjoying the hustle of working up to five hours a week per video.)
Another that complains "Some months we’d get $600 for four videos”

No shit Sherlock? What you was hoping for? To create one viral video and retire? Fucking idiots.
 
These YouTubers only make a fraction of their income through Ads, why don't people understand that?

Don't quit your day job is what I always say. I would never count on something like Youtube for income because they are too unstable. Sell your products off site and make big money. Patreon is also a good option if you have a solid fanbase.

People dont know shit about marketing, branding, selling or anything for the like. Some people think that selling is evil LOL.

Many people think this is the dream, but being a YouTuber is an unstable job. And, given the fact that most people are completely unaware of the amount of work behind, it is no wonder they feel disappointed afterward. But I don't see the point in complaining about it - it is what it is.
 
that's why for most it's a hobby. If not, they don't have bills to pay. Also Social Fame is an important factor. People feel proud of their 5k subs, makes good conversation like "Hey Look at Me! People like me. Proof I have 5k followers".
 
This is why you should learn programming and deep learning and eventually get a good system why manually create content when you can have 50x the amount of content created in the span time span but automated. For roughly the same amount of money spent per week on clothing as that woman did, I would be able to get a loan to buy an 8x Titan V computer that could be used to create content for all sorts of various niches.

Not sure how accurate these numbers are.. However if its really true, then its really shocking. They are getting paid nothing.
