I have been a member here for a few years now, and I originally joined BHW to network myself among some talented people in hopes of finding some methods to assist me service the various needs my clients have from time to time. I'm sharing this because I have developed my career along the way, and at some point soon I would like to explore some avenues that I know could be successful, but I will need to find the right people to work with to make that happen. What I do is rather different than the average member of a Blackhat marketing site, but I have made some good friends & great revenue thanks to the relationships I have made here, and for that I am very grateful. I began this career almost 6 years ago almost by accident, and over time I have developed an impressive set of skills in marketing & providing something that really has little to no real value because it's a commodity, yet that commodity is priceless when it's of extreme importance to the end client that needs it when the time is right. That commodity is personal information, and it's something that will always be in demand.

Whether it's a private matter, business situation, or anywhere in between, there is an infinite demand in the professional/legal world for quality information when an end client has a need. I now service both corporate & private clients with that information in order for them to solve problems and find answers. Although I am vague on the specifics, this work all centers around various forms of investigation. I am NOT in law enforcement, nor a lawyer, nor anything professionally licensed to perform a specific service....I AM however a source that professionals use when they need answers. In generic terms, I am an information broker.

I have worked cases involving missing people, white collar crime, financial wrong doing, litigation cases, airline disasters, ponzi schemes, abused children, celebrity mishaps and the list goes on. I have had times I spent countless hours banging my head against the wall trying to find what was needed...to times that I earned more money in an hour than some people make in a week. It's not always been pretty, but the best part of all of it is the difference i have made in lives of people that I never even met, but what I did made all the difference to them and their family. That is whatI am most proud of by far.

My work environment is rather casual, I usually work from home on a PC, often in shorts and a T shirt, sometimes even with a beer in hand, but I perform and I deliver so who is to say it doesn't work. I have access to proprietary information that i use to begin each order, and from there it depends on the situation and what is needed to get the job done. I have to consistently think outside the box in order to be successful, but nothing comes easy and I enjoy it, so it's worth it in the end.

I can cold call & develop new clients over the phone into strong & lasting relationships without ever meeting them face to face, which is both good & bad because the biggest problem I have faced over time is being able to service all the work I have coming in. It has pushed me into temporary burnout a few times since i started, but the thought of ever getting a "regular job" and paid by the hour quickly sobers my thoughts and sets me back on course. I have considered from time to time "selling my brain' to the right person who has the skills and desire to pursue this, but I haven't managed to take that step as of yet. Lately I even considered making a UDEMY course on various parts of what i do and how to pursue this work, but I feel I will need to find someone to partner with to make it happen. Perhaps this is partially why i am sharing this now. This career is definitely not for everyone, but it's not rocket science either.

Motivation and initiative open doors of opportunity. I hope this post reads better than it appears at this point, I have no interest in editing or revising it, but i will leave you all with this thought....No matter what your personal situation or circumstance, if you will take the time and invest the effort into something you both enjoy and you believe in, you WILL be successful in whatever you aim to do.

Pick up the phone, ask the question, or do whatever it is necessary to accomplish what you set out to do. Take action on your dreams if you want to see them come true. Cheers

I really am not decided, other than I would like to earn a return on my method/blueprint in some manner, possibly expand as well, but still kicking it around.

Go get the job before someone snags it, we're in a competitive world.

Let's hope they don't read this thread as it could hurt you entirely in terms of your chances of attaining that position.

The greatest thing about Blackhat Marketing is that nobody can replace you, networks will fight and increase rates to prevent dissatisfactory conditions and unreliable rates to keep you afloat and loyal.

Good luck though, don't ever forget anything important to preserve your position.

I just want to say it was a interesting read sometime it is really hard to describe what you do without actually describing what you do. I still have no idea what you do but it does sounds interesting.

lilmasta I appreciate your comment, you couldn't be more accurate either. It's a challenge to simplify something that's not only challenging, but a niche development in progress.

I am a source for information.
I service clients across the USA in the "professional services" category.
Most of my clients are commercial clients (companies, orginizations) however I now also work with a few high net worth private clients and will continue to move in this direction. It may sound silly, but one "problem" I have had is having too much work, and that can truly be a problem.

    What types of information:
Generally speaking, I am an information source for any type of information a client needs pertaining the service they provide or the end clients they serve. basic examples would be performing a background check on a company or individual, reversing a phone number, identifying the legal owner of a company, obtaining an active phone number for an individual, locating employment for an individual, reversing a license plate etc. These are very basic and not inclusive of all I now do but you get the idea.

Specifically speaking, often times it's not as simple as getting an order. I am presented with a situation/problem and have to determine a course of action that leads to the results my client needs.
Example: A married couple hasn't seen their son in 10 years and would like to locate him in hopes of reconnecting.
The son has made effort to remain "off the map" and they have no idea of what state he even lives in. It's not as easy as finding him on Facebook or Google, and they think he is likely using an alias name as well. Basically they know very little but they want him found. That's where I come in.

Information sources are a dime a dozen and there's infinite information sources online (paid & free)
Spokeo, Intellius, Zaba Search and Anywho are all examples that claim to provide quality information.
Docusearch is another one and they actually do a pretty good job, however even they have sources they rely on to provide the info they sell. Depending on your need, these types of sources can be helpful at times but even the top online sources are average at best when it comes to obtaing current/accurate information. That being said, where else do you go when you need something?
Private Investigator? Lawyer? Let's say you choose one of these because they say they will find what you need. They still have to source the answers and information you need. That's where someone like myself comes in.

    What makes me any different.
Several things. I would be considered the source for the traditional sources people go to in times of need.
This means that when I get work it's because my client can't obtain it or doesn't have the ability to do so.

If you were wanting to find the owner of a phone number, you could use Google or one of many public sites that claim to reverse phone numbers.
Your chances of getting any information are about 50/50 and the chances of that information being verifiably accurate are about 10%.
It's just a phone number though right? That depends....if that phone number was who just called and threatened your wife then it's suddenly more than just a number. You can call the police, and after an hour of talking to them you'll likely be told they will investigate the problem and get back to you. It's certainly more important to you than it is to Zaba search, the police or anyone in between.
If I were servicing you (the client) your chances of finding that information and that person significantly increase.
The results you would receive would also be 100% accurate also.

this is a simplified overview but I hope it gives you the basic idea.

My story: I quit my software job, like 9 months back. This is what really happened to me: One day, I sent a email to my team manager seeking one day (Friday) leave for personal reason. And he immediately called me up to his cabin and kept asking this question - "What's that personal reason?, What is it?, What is it?" I wanted to give him a rock bottom but he is 45 years old and I'm 24, so gave respect to his age. I said, " It's too personal to share ". He said, " Well, then I can't grant you leave, just like that". I said, " I have 3 leaves pending to be used, I'm gonna use it now". He said, " It is not how it works, I have to grant it". The conversation heated-up and I ended up saying, "FUCK YOU!". He made big eyes and said, " Well, now you face the consequences ". I said, " I don't give a shit about you, I quit ". After that conversation I resigned and paid some money to speed-up the resignation, it's because I had 2 years bond with the company. Now, I don't know it was my mistake or his but I took a better decision and I now earn 3X (From last month ) times more in IM. Being ruthless worked liked great for me. BTW, the personal reason that I wouldn't say to him was about my sister's depression after her new born baby died. She is fine & doing good now. My ex manager changed my life, lol.

Lol, I think the individual was being, or rather, attempting to make a playful comment; it made me chuckle to be honest.

Don't get me wrong, it didn't make me chuckle because I agree with his or her comment on a literal level, but it made me chuckle because it sounds like something I'd playfully say to a friend during a conversation.

I feel I have a hint of what you may do, but I won't make guesses in text because it is not necessary to do so. You got a job, you're happy and that is good to hear that you are doing well, hell, you even took time aside to provide some motivation.

Are you familiar with the St. Louis, Missouri area? I have recently been enlightened with info about a particular landfill near the Mississippi River that contains radioactive waste. This same landfill is located next to the river and this general location has seen enormous amounts of rain - floodings that broke historical records.

There may be a environmental disaster around the St. Louis area.

What's even worse? The New Madrid Fault is long past due for dishing out an earthquake that could be catastrophic for the St. Louis area and the rest of the Midwest location.

Have a good New Year! Thank you for your time.

This is like in the movies when the guy gets into different CIA/ FBI databases to find out information. Definitely a unique choice of career.

Do you have any access to law enforcement agencies databases?

I honestly am not sure whether this is a motivational post or a post from a guy who is seeking something but not sure what it is?

But since you are a very generous guy who loves to share whatever he has for people here in BHW, I'm just going to say that you are awesome at what you do so please keep it up :D

Can you find a forum that entertains foolishness, rejoices in blackmail, has the funds to litigate against Google and finds extortion to be an admirable quality? If you do, please join and do BHW a favor....disassociate yourself.
