Keep this in mind, before you pin the next time images from other websites onto Pinterest:

So, if you are a user, and someone decides to sue Pinterest for copyright violation of something you pinned (because they most likely are the larger lawsuit target), then you in effect has given Cold Brew Labs full rights to come after you for any costs they might incur. Both in potential ?damages, and losses? AND for any

Not really. Every social site have such policy and nothing ever happened to anyone, just if you were doing really bad things like hacking.

It's much simpler than that. If a company owns copyright and claims that your accounts have their photos, Pinterest will simply ban you and problem solved.

    Chill up people..

Suing just for pining images? I don't think so.They can only ban your account if the risk is high.

    Never heard of DMCAs?

Also it is not Pinterest who would do it.

I'm just saying don't "piss" off the wrong guy's, and think twice.

And read between the lines, crazy stuff is that the big guys in first place may sue Pinterest as the money is there, and it futher also says that every picture uploaded belongs to them. So if Pinterest get's sued over a pic which you uploaded, you pay for everything if you live in the states. Now that is the worst case here :)

I keep myself save when doing businesses which have a legal risk, by putting it under a offshore business somewhere far away.
