I've never looked at wealth that way (Sam Polk point of view)

This article clearly demonstrates what i've known all along.

    For some people...it's never enough.

Great read. That drive and determination allowed him to bank hard. I admire that. But on the same token, that obsession/addiction created a big chasm in his life, which left him empty and searching for a reason for his existence.

If you haven't read it, Liars Poker is a great read. That got me really interested in reading many more similar books. Currently reading The Wizard of Lies. I was best man for an investment banker friend in London. He isn't to this point of the article yet, but eventually he will be. Its a different world. His bonuses are easily more than most people make. I think a lot of people in this forum are chasing the money in a similar fashion. Not like that's a bad thing. But there does seem to be a point where you can actually stop and live really well not having to work. But that's not the mindset these people have that got them to riches.

I know I was at a decision point do I want to pursue that or stick with my current field?
