The real purpose of Facebook likes?

Hi
I have seen many spam facebook pages ranking on the first page of google.
The content is not unique and dont any have backlinks.All i see is a few very primitive comment
and big amount of likes.
Does facebook likes/shares helps in ranking or do they just order those fake likes to make the page look more legit?
Does it worth to order facebook likes/shares from f iverr or from BHW bst to improve rankings?

Those pages are ranking because of the high autority of the facebook.com domain. There are a few other factors though

Yes, google will consider those pages with likes are most active, so it will rank.

Facebook.com contains high authority domain. So your page rank is one. Here, Facebook likes have a great importance.

engagement rate is a big factor with attributing relevancy on google.

even though its in a closed ecosystem, it is still relevant
