I have seen brand new websites rank for extreme competetive keywords like "payday loans" or make money online, they usually use wordpress plugins or joomla extensions to get a part of other sites page rank with hidden backlinks. And it works, but the payday loan term is so abused by now that all brand new websites ranking for the term on page one is probably manual reviewed by google and then slapped.

But for other terms the rank and bank method with hacked sites works even today, there is no wordpress plugins etc, the simply hack other sites with high pagerank and high sql vuln to get into the database and dump the admin logins then inject their backlinks in hidden mode.
They are using sqlmap for this.

i have seen sites in viagra niche use hacked sites just for backlinks, their number one quality backlink was coming from a link ending with php?id= something and i tested it and it was vuln for sql. The amazing part is nobody knows that their site is being hacked!!!

The rank and bank method is illegal, so does who do this can do some jail time! so what do you think about it is it worth it? my opinion on this is -NO because it is not long term solution for rankings it is just rank and bank and get slapped.

Then whats the point of this thread? To bring up a topic and then say you don't agree with it...

Fyi hacking talk is not allowed here go read the rules. There are other ways to rank and bank that don't involve hacking and I think if you ask around the general consensus here is that it is worth it.

Yes this forum is about blackhat seo - but that typically means things like using spamming tools, well let's face it basically all link building is considered blackhat. It doesn't include hacking though since were not supposed to talk about that here.

But to answer your question again I think that rank/bank method can be worth it for sure. We have members here who sell services specifically for these kind of websites - and this kind of is not limited to loans or pharma or other spammy niches.

Blackhat doesn't mean hacking or breaking the law, please don't try and misunderstand what people on this forum do.

It's for you to perform due diligence on niche research to determine if the ROI will be positive.
Many ways to skin that cat, burner sites are an excellent choice for some high competition niches.
It;s up to you to find your own though.

I assume a burner site is one where you will rank it using BH techniques expecting it to blow up in the near term but after you have banked enough $$$ to make it worthwhile -- same as rank & bank?

    Yes. Also churn and burn.

The clever guys know how to rank for longer. 3-6 months isn't unheard of in competitive niches. I don't mean pharma or payday. 1 notch lower though. Real estate, health, loans, even SEO. There most definitely is an art - it's just an algorithm after all. If you have enough goes or analyse enough of the SAME type of back link you'll spot patterns.

For me, churn and burn is the way to go. I've seen 7-8 sites owned by the same person ranking page 1. An easy way to ramp up prices at the same time as getting most of the clicks.

I don't think I'd even entertain the idea of hacking. It's beyond unethical. It doesn't cost alot with certain methods anyway. You could rank 1/50 sites and still make profit.

ok i see now, i am sorry i said hacking there is sites that has a lot of spammy link from scrapebox, xrumer but it also has hacked sites, what i mean with hacked is people using wordpress plugins that they create and give away free but in the plugin there is hidden backlinks.

i hope blackhatforum are not going to kick me out. Newbie mistake-honest mistake.

Does any body know how much the services for spammy rank backlinks cost? is it effective-does it give results.

It's fine that you're new. Though I suggest that you read the rules before anything if you really want to avoid getting banned.
