The problem with Axie Infinity

It’s grinding game, it’s very clear on the get go that in order to have fun you got to grind in the game daily to get your SLP goals, and keep in mind unlike real currency out there they can be used to purchase almost anything, while SLP here is only ever useful for in game purchases, and thus traded only to people that want to have anything to do with the game.
This is nothing sort of new, people trade in game stuffs with real money all the time, in game currencies are traded for money all the time even before blockchain comes along.
This game is just sort of come around adding “blockchain” and “making money” into their game.
And the problem with currency that attached to something, in this case is this game, its performance is tied up to the game‘s performance.
I have seen many reports of people losing their in game assets to hacking and glitch and bug, it’s not a wonder the prices of the currency is high, people are basically unable to do anything with their assets and as if they are holding onto their assets, which is just basically not true, as they are just locked out of their assets.
This game has many claims that contradict each other you should see red flags all over it, but if you decide to join anyway, prepare yourself to not just play the game but also to promote the game to gain value in their currency, that’s how deep you need to be once you’re inside.
Other shitcoins at least is not promoting themselves in such a way like this, they try and bring value to real world use cases.
Imagine playing this game and unable to do anything for weeks, cause of maintenance and bugs, community isn’t helpful either, cause people just experiencing the same thing and cannot come up with answers.
Yeah the price maybe increase cause nobody was able to generate SLP during this bugs and maintenance. So it’s just complete price manipulation at this point.
My point is I see a lot of red flags and I would advice anyone to stay clear until this game is fixed

Agree with all of this. Also heard they doubled the price of axie breeding in the past, which is another red flag. This doesn't improve the game, this doesn't help the community - rather the opposite. It's just a cash grab, and suckers dont see the ponzi this really is.

yes it is ponzi and the good thing about it is its popularity, 3 months ago i started playing this and from my initial investment x3 that what i'm current earning.
