I've actually started making money on Twitter recently.. To be more clear, I made $50 from 1 tweet and 2 days later made $37 from another tweet.. If you ever read any of my old posts, I hate Twitter because I never made a dime and have a few niche accounts with 5,000 to 12,000 followers.

The way I finally made money was using Addmefast and Youlikehits. I just created a tweet that I knew would get a lot of attention and used the above services to add up to 300 retweets and around 275 likes:..

I ended up getting about 90 clicks through my link.

Now I'm a Clickbank guy and I have done this with Clickbank products and didn't make shit...Not even link clicks.

So I started thinking how can I get clicks and make money... I thought Amazon. I chose a hot product, added a popular image with hashtags and threw retweets at it.

So, what happened was I got a lot of clicks and made money off these people and they had no idea because they got my cookie.

The first Tweet I made 17 sales. I used a bot shared here and my own imacros on the social share sites to get retweets. I did it again 2 days later and forgot to add the image and only made 9 sales.

So here's my question for the Twitter gurus... What if I did the same thing but instead of working to get 300 retweets, what if I bought 3000 retweets using the same method.

Would my retweet stick at the top for my keywords and hashtags longer hence tripling my money?

That sounds great, so you just tweet ur amazon affiliate link with a picture and hashtags related to the product, without a website? what is ur twitter niche? the product you find has to be related to the niche right?

You don't need a niche Twitter account.. Hell, you can do it with a brand new Twitter account.. Just use any URL shortener and shorten the product link.

For what product on Amazon to pick I usually pick anything that is hot right now. The funny thing is, most of your sales won't even be the product you Tweeted.

That's why I think Twitter and Amazon can be powerful if you get say 3000 Retweets instead of 300. I'm just curious how long a it will stick on the top.

Why? Is it against the rules of amazon to post your affiliate link on twitter? People will click the link because they are interested in the product.

What makes you think Amazon will ban you?

Amazon won't ban you at all. Al amazon sees is a guy posting an affiliate link to social media, people are interested in the product, click the link, make a sale. Now what's weird about that?

On topic: really nice method, good job OP! I would indeed suggest scaling it up. Add a nice profile picture and banner if you haven't yet, and you will make a lot of money :)

I would like to try this method but I have no idea what product to use, can you help me out please? What kind of products do people usually buy on amazon, what do you mean with ''hot product'', and is it better to choose sth that is less than 30$, 50$ or more, 100$ or more?
And I find it weird that when I search a hashtag on twitter I see on top post some tweets with 2 or 3 rts? Tweets with many rts and likes are supposed to be on the top right, otherwise this method won't work. What wrong with twitter?

Instead of direct linking, you can build a landing page and promote that on Twitter, place the Amazon affiliate links on your site, so Amazon won't have a clue where you're traffic is coming from. At least this is what i would do, just to stay on the safe side.

I don't promote Amazon items, so i don't know what's Amazon take on direct linking and social media promotion, but i'm pretty sure that they don't allow spamming, be it email spam, social media spam or any other kind of spam. If you spam your direct link(s) on Twitter, i'm pretty sure that you can get banned from Amazon because of it.

This isn't allowed, you need to send this traffic to a landing page first.

    The below is from amazon.

What types or Social media websites are eligible to participate in the program?

We currently accept only Facebook.com "Fan Pages," "Verified" Twitter.com pages, a YouTube "channel" or twitch.tv in the Associates program. All other social network sites are not eligible to add Associate links, or for use to create an Associates Account."

Oops, my bad. Then you should indeed go with a landing page.

I only did this twice to just see how it would do. I'm used to making $100+ from a sale not $0.20 to $5.00 a sale. Not really worth it to me. But on the other hand, if you can spend $5 on a lot of retweets and earn $10 from that retweet, you can scale it up and earn big time. I may try it in the near future. Definitely follow Amazons terms of service.

Here's something you could do which might work pretty good. Create a landing page offering a giveaway in whatever niche you decide to do. Collect their email address then redirect them to your Amazon store. To make sure you get their real email address, tell them you will contact the winner via email. Make sure you use double opt-in when collecting emails.

You can setup a auto responder to remind them every two days about the giveaway and soft sell them on another product from your store.

Just a idea I just thought of.. Sure it's not new but it will keep your Amazon account safe.
