So I'm using EZAR, I posted to cl and everything is running smooth. I'm drinking my morning coffee, and replies are coming in like flies to shit.

EZAR is sending them out, and I'm here just here taking it easy on a normal black hatting day, when I get this feeling to check my stats at CU. I sign on and I see 0 unique visitor, and I'm thinking "The hell?" I've sent out over 50 replies and not 1 visitor.

Well I said to myself "let me give it a few minutes maybe these guys want to check later on" but then for some reason I go to my template and check the message that I'm sending out and I look at the HTML code, and what do I see

The link that I was giving out took them no where, I was redirecting them to a site that doesn't exist, which I forgot to take off last night when I was doing some test runs. hehehehe :D

So there goes 50 potential customers, the moral of this story: Always run a check list before you start everything.

Anyone else have some "I just fucked up" stories to share?

Nope just you.. ;)

If I actually had to list all the times I fucked up this would be an epic post. :P

I've done the same thing as you, except I left it (bot) running for 2 days straight cause I left for a concert.. I spent a shitload of money thinking I was making it back at the same time, but it was just showing people a blank page.

I screw up a lot actually.. I'm always doing like 5 things at once.. weed never helped either..

My biggest mistake was sending 10k emails to the wrong web address....

I didn't check to look at the rights of a junior administrator and then I started to get all these calls that the files were missing. He deleted the whole container and when he figured out what he did instead of being a man he walked out and quit. FML
I just did a restore from the NAS which thankgod was on a fiber backbone. Everything was up and running in 3 hours.

Spent a lot of time figuring out ad copy for my first PPC campaign for an affiliate program... after fumbling around in Adwords I finally get it all up and running and the next day I get a call from the advertiser telling me to take it down because they don't want me competing on their keyword.

Derp.

Ouch bro, that sucks. But @ least you didn't decide to take the day off and let everything run on autopilot, it could have been worse. BTW, congrats on getting EZA up and running. :)

Sent 1,000+ e-mails, with a 90% click though ratio, so 9,00 clicks, at at 50% converastion rate, 450 leads gone, FML.

Condom broke. FML

Hehe.

Probably one of my biggest fuck ups online is when I iframed adsense on a warez site basically forcing the users to click on forex ads. I got banned, received a big check (strange? imagine when I found the check in the mailbox ) but still regret it. I was in my noob year.
