Here's a stupid ideea. You could try investing 50% or more of your time, money and energy in making content that is highly engaging and always improve your skills in attracting people to your channel/page/account.
Or you get into the habit of thinking it's the platform's fault for not sending you views/followers/likes/subscribers. Instead of your Responsability to make more awesome content.
Here's an ideea: look at the places that keep you going back to them day after day after day. And the places that keep you glued to your screen for 10-20 videos after seeing just one video.
Do this especially for the channels/pages in your niche.
Then every day for at least 30 days. Watch 5-10 videos and ask yourself: If I completely ignore the content of this channel's videos, what is keeping me coming back again and again to this channel?
Here's one example from my own life. I was asking myself for the last week or so. Why do I keep coming back to these stupid youtube channels about Tesla? The information I get is very thin but I'm almost addicted to them. Then I realized that those channels were making me feel inspired and excited about the wonderful future ahead and also I felt belonging for being part of the future unfolding itself.
What is keeping you glued to your screen on youtube/facebook/instagram/etc?
