The non-official BHW get youtube honors thread.

Okay community people. We're all mad and youtube and yada yada. Ppl are making software to get views and such, but all we want is the HONORS. on the vid. Those honors are what give us front page status. They can come from favorites, comments, etc. NOT ONLY VIEWS.

Do a quick search on todays top page. I looked at "educational" vids and sorted by comments.

It only has 63 COMMENTS!! and it's on the frontpage

We need to make a system, where we comment, rate,favorite etc. our fellow community members vids so we can all get those honors in our respective niches and front page status

You may be right. Didn't someone post a week or 2 back doing an experiment like that. It seemed like every video they posted/embedded here got taken down if I'm remembering right.

What if we just typed in the watch code, then it wouldn't backtrack to bhw right? Seeing as we have to manually add it onto the youtube url.

^^OP has a point, though sharing links wouldn't be a good idea but yea, views are not everything...

Embedding here doesn't get videos disabled if the videos are legit. The video posted above is still active. Just a bad idea if you're doin something shady and want to stay under the radar...like favoriting/commenting/subscribing each other.

I still wouldn't post a video link here. Although I have thought of having a video sharing website where users view and rate for each other.

Just be safe (you never know who is watching)​
