Sometimes you just have to fall back on what works time and time again, and that's exactly what I've decided to do here. The YouTube algorithm works just like any other, really focusing on momentum and once you have some energy it's easy to transfer it. I run a 21K channel currently and have been working with various YT pages for years now. My 21K is making me only a couple hundred per month through Adsense just because of the censorship for the niche that it's in. Screw advertiser-friendly and kid-friendly right? Well... I like the freedom of the channel but now it's time to go full GORDAN GEKKO mode, GREED IS GOOD! I've buckled down and will do whatever it takes to ensure this channel succeeds. It's already on the path to making me a few thousand per month within the next 6 months. This is the result after 2 days. 527 subscribers, over 2,400 views (YouTube Analytics sucks and it's not realtime apart from subscriber numbers) and constantly growing. Here is the progress from my other channel which I don't even fully advertise on anymore: The way to make some SERIOUS cash through cryptocurrency is to have traffic, boys and gals. Because first you make money through advertising and sponsorships. Then you promote whatever products/services/investment ideas you have. Then you create pump and dump groups, your own ICOs, sell information, consulting, flip accounts, etc. The list goes on and on. If you have a strong base (a youtube channel, a blog, a Twitter page with a lot of followers, whatever it is...) BAM, you're making a killing. NO RISK. At least for this project. What's the worst that can happen? Oh, it doesn't take off as quickly as I'd expect it to? It could hit 20K subscribers within 2 months if I really went full out + a little bit of luck rubbed off on me. But even with a few thousand targeted subscribers it could do extremely well. It's all about niches. Oh, and on top of that if you connect everything else... well, see ya. Time to turn my measly 5 figures into 6, regardless of the Bitcoin prices.
