Can anyone help me by telling PBN comes into the category of black hat seo or white hat seo and is it useful to setup PBN to rank your site ? Waiting for positive reply

Looks like the images are broken since I last read this bad boy...finally decided to make an account today and wanted to say thanks for sharing this, it's robust and well thought out. Incredibly helpful.

PBNs are definitely considered blackhat... that's why you have to be smart if you do it. Otherwise Google could penalize you.

I didin't really understand why VPS are bad for PBN? all that SOA stuff. How us it's different from shared hosting SOA? Isn't VPS is a part of a shared hosting?

You are spot on with the hosting footprints part. Nice work altogether.

I would say it is somewhere in between. If you did everything correct Google will never discover that this is PBN, but you need to invest in it certain amount of money and time. Also don't use it alone. This should be like a final hit, but there should be a preparation.

I have no idea how to do pretty much 99.9% of all that, but I am wondering if people think it's safe to buy from someone like sarkar or the others that advertise pbn links to help ranking my site? I'm looking for long term results and longevity, not quick rank, cash in and get destroyed by google to do it all over again on a new site.

You can start with something completely white, like guestposting, press releases, social media advertising and watch the results. If you will have steady growth you won't need PBN. If you'll get stuck some day, maybe PBN will help you. But if you got no clue about it, better not to start from it.

I've recently been submitting answers to HARO requests and I've gotten 2 posts in my first 3 weeks, so I'm gonna continue that. What I was talking about though is buying PBN links that different ppl advertise here. I'm wondering what more experienced guys think of that as a supplemental strategy?

If you knew what are you doing, why not. A lot of guys using marketplace here, it's quite safe and checked.

The info here is too large. Its too detailed and go beyond even a normal information product. Thank you for taking your time to right all these. I have to bookmark this page so that I will read over and over again.

I didnt know about the strict rule of "not editing links and anchor texts on your PBN" and did that today, but after 2-3 hours returned as it was before, am I doomed now and it will be found out eventually?

That must definitely be the longest Post I ever read on any Internet Forum and it probably cost me 1 hour of my time. Was postponing this read for several days now but finally found the motivation. Great content, gonna save that in Word for reading again step by step when I gathered an expired domain by myself.

Close to giving up on this method.

PBN Labs for Expired Domains crawler
But, I would invest in Auction Domains moving forward with my PBNs

As long as googlebot did not visit and crawl / index the page with the change you are fine.

Hi vishyjames. Great post. Very comprehensive. I must admit I will have to read it several more times in the hope of mentally digesting all the most important fundamentals.

    Quick question:
I have heard (watching an SEO guy on YTube) that when you sign up to all your different Web Hosting accounts, you need to register under a different name on each one.
    Is this correct?

When I first heard this I thought it sounded a bit odd, mainly because I couldn't figure how you could do that if you used the same credit card. The host might take your credit card Name & Address, and use this as your default account Name & Address.

Also, I didn't know that Google could find this info. I though it could only see the DNS, IP address, and owner of the Domain (if not set to private).

Would be grateful for your feedback. :)
