Hmm, I know the million dollar pixel thing has been done to death, but I think this definitely has potential with a couple twists. I'll experiment with it when I'm caught up with my other projects.

Remember to have all your whitehat sites "buy" the best pixel locations at the top to show how caring they are about charity..

I've been writing up a plan to make a similar site with a big twist in it, requires redesigning the whole site though so I'll be hiring a freelancer to make it from scratch for me once I have thought it over and written out all of my ideas properly. I do see potential in these types of sites but I am considering how to get it going at the moment.

If you want to steal charitable donations, there are much easier ways to get the money than praying a site goes viral with an old idea.

There's a few problems with this. First major issue is the use of the word "donation." This is compounded if you state what percentage of the proceeds are donated and you don't follow through. Any currency collected will be considered income and taxable. If you state you're donating 100%, you're going to have to donate 100%, pay taxes on it first and any processing fees during the transaction.

This won't work unless you're willing to commit tax fraud and break more than a few laws. If you're willing to do that, why even fart around with this buck at a time stuff?

Simple solution. In small letters at the bottom say "All money will be donated less amount taxed." Why the fuck do you care how much actually makes it to charity? You are going to be able to keep what you get from your "Sponsers".

Create a group on Care2. and people on care2 always participate in all these charities, think about it: more than 9 million people,
digg it, post on all the web2 sites, groups, etc... I see the word BUZZ

You can spam all the web2 sites and groups, forums and they'll not call you a spammer because they think you collect money for charities, not for yourself.

The potential is really huge. Add some advertising to "keep your servers online".
