Hey everyone, Wins here(obviously). Haha

I just noticed the forums.digitalpoint.com and their main domain has been completely revamped. They are in no way compared to to blackhatword, and never will be. I have a small, good reputation over there and just noticed the change this morning.

The new change is impractical and inconvenient in my opinion. There have been many changes, like calling PM's, conversations. Almost like a group style. They took out the traditional iTrader and came up with a "more secure" way of transferring funds between users/business partners. Not to mention there are affiliate ads and adserve ads EVERYWHERE. More than usual.

My Rating for Digital Point currently 1/10 and trust me I am being generous.

Let's see what some of you guys have to say about it.

They just changed from VBulletin to Xenforo its just an framework change and thats why there are many new things. I have it also but I get a lot of freelance work from DP so what the heck lol
 
Most of their user base has their heads up their asses and wants you work for literal pennies. (I am a freelancer). Also, a lot of the users are arrogant for no reason at all. I see them just down talk other users without an infraction or a negative rep. It's just like, wow, what happened to all men being equal (excluding scammers of course).
 
There is something horrible about looking up IM stuff on a site with a white background. When i want to learn about the seediest of seediest techniques to get up to all the dodgy deals of the day online, i want a black background like blackhatworld. that way no cunt can spot what i'm upto :captain:
 
Well I first started off at DP, However it was BHW that gave me the true enlightenment on becoming successful in this industry. That being said I havnt been on DP for years,I just visited it and It looks much cleaner than it once was however this does not change my mind on returning there. Perhaps this change/update over at DP is an attempt to grab back the people its lost over the years to better places such as bhw.
 
I have been loyal to bhw since I came here. I have tried a couple other forums for the little possible extra business over my time, but never really posted to the other forums. DP, and WF I have never signed up to. I may do WF soon for obvious business purposes, but I doubt I will ever sign up at dp. So, with that being said, I can not give my honest opinion on this thread, and just felt like trolling for a minute. Trolling now completed :D
 
It looks like i am using the forum in my mobile, :)

Banners and Advertising all around, I am sure they will get huge CTR now on their banners.

Yeah, that's how I feel. I feel almost discriminated against when I go there but I am a freelancer and I follow the work train wherever it goes, although 100% loyal to BHW because it has been VERY good to me.

Yeah I know what you mean, actually I stopped working for people from India or Pakistan. They wanted me to do a lot of stuff for like $15-$30. I told them to GTFO! :)

I've been loyal since 2009 to bhw. I lurked for about 5 months before deciding to join. If DP go shut down, I wouldn't think more than once about it after I found out. So honestly, I do not feel your post as a troll, it's more of an agreement. I don't have an account at WF, but DP I do at DP that I wont be using anymore. I didn't use it that much anyways to begin with. I have 50 posts since 2009. Haha.

I am +7 repping you for this. I cannot stand when an Indian or Pakistani client wants me to build them a fully functional eCommerce store with 300 products to input for $100. It's just ridiculous.
 
Yes, I also started at DP as well. Made some chump money, then found BHW and can't remember last time I browse there. BHW Have some great content for those looking for great info like me :p
 
i love some of the users there who are really good at scamming :D
 
i sent a pm to dp owner 3 weeks ago that dp is slowly dying and forums like black hat world are gaining more visitors, i guess he took me very seriously :p

Haha, nice influence you have there. Maybe you made him a little sad that his forum is rather garbage.
 
I gave up on DP a long time ago. They banned me for 90 days for a "hacking attempt". I simply informed a client that I could not upload his custom Twitter background without account information, he cried to a 12 year old mod, and my account was shut down temp. and my BST services thread removed. I tried to explain what had happened and that it was ludicrousness to say the least, but to no avail (other than to threaten me with a permanent ban if I persisted in calling the mods technologically inept and retarded - which I did).
