I got a mail from bing yday, and happened to check the new bing with facebook integration. The new word of the mouth is social networks, so bing integrating facebook is going to be give it an edge over google when it comes to 'recommended by friends' results. If this can increase the market share of bing, then it is very much possible to approach the SEO with different strategies like posting on niche groups and fan pages. I am testing a fb marketing software and going to check if this can be implemented in a large scale. My approach is going to be 1) Create 100s of accounts (around 500) 2) Build the accounts with friends (use the $500 a day through fb method) 3) Split the accounts in to 5 groups (specific to 5 niches in which I operate) 4) Join facebook groups and get friends related to the niches. Build on the accounts 5) Share good landing pages and offers related to the niches, even if it doesn't become viral, we still can get traffic from bing. I am using a beta software on this (friendbomber) Building the accounts and selecting the niches will work out in a big way.. In my opinion anything related to games niche can work out big time but I am not in to that niche. What are your thoughs on this P.S: I know some people are going to flame me, and say that bing's share is far less and google is the monopoly. In my opinion 66% is not monopoly and bing is growing every month by a few decimal points.. and it is currently 18.7% which is not less and bing powered searches are more than 33% (Yahoo comes under this). So Optimizing for bing and working out alternate strategies to Google's penalty is important.
