    screw that dont work no more. theres just too many people able to produce music easily and we get more quantity than quality. they fucking need to figure out some good shit out to make some more money. i'd first target a huge audience and then make the monies. like from performances, commercials, investments on the side etc theres tons of ways to figure out how to make money once your known.

    they need to start selling directly to the public. even at .75 cents per song, they'd come out ahead.

    $1.60 per album is a ripoff... :(

    that's a pretty interesting study, but it isn't news that the performers are making their money from their concerts especially nowadays and not from their sold albums mostly because of the parasites (record label and their mates) and not because of the online piracy

    yep! concerts/touring -- that's where the real money is. the studios are losing cash to piracy, not the artists!

    which is why they "care" in the first place...
