In my experience, these ones are the most overrated tools. When so called marketing gurus start talking about these stuff, I start feeling itchy because of this cringe situation.

1 - Semrush (Ahrefs is much better than this. And it shows more than 90% of backlinks, while tools like semrush can show only 20-30% of them)

2 - Moz (This clоwn fishkin really marketing expert, because he knows how to sell even a horseshít to fancy agencies. Again, use Ahrefs instead)

3 - Ubersuggest (I don’t know why people use these keyword research tools instead of using Google Keyword Planner)

4 - Leadpages (paying $50 every month for just a landing page? no thanks. you can use landing page templates on themeforest (I use optimizepress v2 with wordpress 4.8, and it still works fine, no monthly subscription, no other bullshít, I bought it 6-7 years ago), and integrate them with other tools like getresponse/aweber, vwo etc

5 - Hubspot (its free CRM is nice, but don’t pay a nickel to its other tools. As I said, for landing pages, you can use HTML templates, for email marketing, you can use getresponse. It would be much cheaper)

6 - Optin Monster (monthly subscription for a popup tool? is this a joke? I recommend Ninja Popups on codecanyon)

Semrush is good for keyword research + you can get a 7 day free trial there. Ahrefs has a 7 day $1 trial but they are losing that model soon.

Great list!

I would add clickfunnels...

shopify... what a stupidly expensive platform...

Mailchimp for higher plans, rip off...

Mostly common webmaster use ahrefs as an common tool which is good and helpful for maintaining site stats , plus an few years later there was an free high quality tools named keywords.io , it was the best tools for getting long tail keys !

Hence ahrefs is my mostly preferred tool !

Doesn't semrush boast that they have the biggest backlink database now?
