Just got an email from the most genius scam artist ever. Good thing I checked everything before clicking any links... The person bought an item off ebay, changed their name to service at paypal to make it seem legit, forwarded their email receipt to about 7 people including myself but here is the crazy part, they replaced all the links in the email with links that were either promoting their website or keyloggers. Since I only opened one of the sites on my phone I should be good. What a morning. I almost freaked out when I saw a $150.00 paypal charge for some watch off ebay. Thing is the email address for charges wasn't my email so I knew right away this couldn't be legit. I give him props but Fuck that person. I guess that's one way to get me out of bed in the morning when I'm constantly checking emails on my phone.

Ah I've never received one of these before, thought it might be a new tactic scammers were starting to use. Didn't even know they could change their name to look like an email address.

I had one of these a few months back that lead to a paypal phishing site. I almost typed in my info to log in too when at the last minute I noticed the address was a bit off :p

use gmail, all emails from official/trusted paypal addresses are marked with a key simbol

and yea, don't click on links (not even on 1 out of 5 :)), hover over and if you see anything suspicious, ignore
