I am not going to do anything with this idea, but on of you clever BHW members may.

I was reading some news and came across this article about the "Most Exclusive Website"

    http://rt.com/usa/271594-most-exclusive-website-queue/

Its an interesting idea and they have a long waiting list. 1.5 million people in line to view a kitten napping.
Having a site like this, you could build one hell of a email list, or have some sort of exclusive content on that site that is a sell I would think... Building a site to serve only 1 person at a time.. interesting.

If you do use this idea, let me know, I would love to see how you twist it.
    -Enjoy

Shit thats a pretty unique idea but seems like a one time thing.

People are only going to the site because of the PR and "hype" but if everyone made sites like this they would not give a damn.

True that.. but if you make it in to a niche site for a product you are launching or a promote it to a facebook group in that niche ... Example: 1 person very 60 seconds has the chance to view an exclusive offer for 60 seconds.. then its gone unless you sign up again. It forces quick buy reactions, also again, grows an email list.

Its not about copying it 100% but spinning it. ;)

The exclusive offer always works, will always work, and its part of actual sales copy. you can't just have 1 piece of the puzzle and hope for money, you need the other pieces... You're missing social authority, a solid foundation offer, facts and supporting benefits of your main benefit, etc. The site worked because its cuteness, exclusive cuteness that was marketed well to people very fast. Sometimes you can't monetize cuteness or viral at all, so in return all you'd get is a shit ton of bandwidth used and no conversions.
