I can get more done in 4hours of intensive work per day, than I can get in 9-11h on average work while browsing internet/doing other crap and not looking at how much time I spend in front of PC.

After you ''work'' for so much, every next day you will feel more $hit and get even less done... perpetual cycle of self destruction...

Be Mindful, Find your Max amount of time where you are still fresh and stop 10-20% before.

do-able at a work environment as well.
I practically enforced that all my employees to take a break after 2 hours of straight work.
when you do that in a work environment won't the work days become 12 hours? I don't think employees would want to spend 12 hours at an office? I've tried 10 minute breaks before, but 1 hour breaks are even better.

I'm trying to get to the point where I can do 12h a day sustainably. I always end up losing all my energy and just vegetating for a week afterwards :(

It makes me jealous how some people are able to sustain 80h work weeks because if I could do that, I'd hit all my life goals.

I can do like 8-10 pretty sustainably but when I hear a story or something of how someone worked 80h workweeks for a year, I get super motivated, retry the 80h work week... and burn out LOL

Nope, my employees work for 7.5hs.
I ensure they get plenty of breaks in between.
However, on the flipside, I also do monitor their breaks (time wise), if they are taking advantage of the kindness and not getting work done and just fucking around, then that's a total separate issue. Luckily, it's not common

I think it's all about building habits. I don't think we're supposed to cold turkey be super productive in 1 go. It should happen over time.

I could previously put some hours in but these days 1/2 hour sat on the bog working can seem like a long time.

Do you Measure the Amount of Success/work done by how much you spend doing it, or by actually how much you get done? ;)

I agree on that , I will work for a few hours and accidentally tabbed to the social site . Bumb a bunch of pretty girls popped up and I spent the next 7 hours surfing the internet

I find a standing desk to be helpful with this this, and a nice 30 min break every 4 hours or so can be a great reset

And i was naive enough to think something is wrong with me, or I am the only one lol

I want to put in more hours than I do daily, but I just can't bring myself there.

I feel that when I am working exhausted or with no passion the churn builds much faster.

Yes me too
for me, I stay more on PC just because when a new client contacts me he finds me online and we close the deal in a short time
that's why I want to stay on pc more time. not because i work more
